Description
Starium Coins are the backbone of the economy in any questing based modpack that has a shop, representing a tiered system of wealth and access to resources. The coins come in four distinct types, each symbolizing different levels of prosperity. From humble beginnings with the Stariumpenny to the prestigious Stariumdollar, these coins facilitate trade, enable the acquisition of rare artifacts, and are central to questing and adventuring. Players earn these coins by completing tasks, exploring, and participating in various activities within the world, unlocking opportunities for both small and large-scale purchases. Whether used for everyday needs or to claim powerful treasures, the Starium coin system encourages exploration, strategy, and wealth accumulation.
Starium Coin Shop - A Questing Hub
Starium Coins are primarily used in coin shops scattered across the realm, where players can exchange their hard-earned coins for a variety of items, gear, potions, and quest rewards. The shops typically offer goods that require a mixture of different coins, encouraging adventurers to engage in a variety of quests to accumulate wealth in different denominations.
(Note: This mod does not include a pre-built questing hub or coin shop. These elements should be designed and implemented as you develop your modpack, providing you with full customization to suit your specific gameplay vision.)
- Starium Coin Shop Features:
- Quest-Related Rewards: Players can earn Starium Coins by completing quests, which range from small tasks to epic challenges. The rewards can be in the form of Stariumpennies for easier quests, or Stariumquarters and Stariumdollars for more difficult challenges.
- Special Items and Artifacts: Items in the shop might be priced in Stariumquarters or Stariumdollars, such as rare enchanted weapons, spellbooks, potions, and scrolls. Some of the most powerful gear is locked behind expensive prices, making Stariumdollars the primary currency for high-level adventurers.
- Trade & Bartering: Adventurers may also trade between themselves, using coins to barter for specific items, especially when dealing with rare goods like magical gems or unique components for crafting.
Summary of Coin Usage in Quests
- Stariumpenny (1): Used for small transactions, basic supplies, minor quests, and tips.
- Stariumnickel (5): Used for moderate purchases, intermediate quests, entry fees to guilds, or services.
- Stariumquarter (25): Used for high-end purchases, rare artifacts, and significant quest rewards.
- Stariumdollar (100): Used for the most expensive purchases, prestigious quests, and elite services.
- Starium Gold Coin (500): A symbol of wealth and influence, used for major investments, powerful artifacts, and high-profile transactions.
Each coin has its place in the grand economy of Starium, with players needing to strategically earn and spend each denomination to progress in their quests, obtain rare items, and prove their worth within the realm.
