Paranormal Pleistocene Is a small, but spooky mod that adds a new biome into your world: The Primal Pits. This Biome is inspired off of the lab Brea Tar Pits, After Observing Pleistocene fossils in real life, It made me wonder, If humans have ghosts, why couldn't Creatures of the past? And that's exactly what this mod adds, The biome is ridded with the Reanimated bodies of the Megafauna lost to the Tar pits.

MOBS

Bog Body:

The Bog Body is an Undead Humanoid Petrified by the peat of the biome. It throws Peat balls at players and Villagers, although its aim is Poor considering It seemingly has only one Eye.

Direbeast:

Vicious Creatures which prowl in packs at night, typically led by a Sabretooth Direbeast, a stronger variant. They hunt any players, villagers, or even some of the other tar creatures

Taraouchs:

The Taraouchs Were once the Ancestors of the cow which have long since died, their reanimated bodies emerge at night and terrorize any would be predators with high knockback

Necrosloth:

The Formidable Necrosloth is a Uncommon Miniboss of the Biome Which takes the player by suprise by hiding under the Ground. That is, until you Disturb them...

Blocks/Items of note

Suspicious Tar:

Suspicious tar occurs within the biome in scare patches. When Dug up with a shovel, you may be Lucky enough to find some Treasures (Why would you try to brush tar with a brush, are you crazy??)

Amber:

Amber Is a Precious material Found In the Suspicious tar and dropped by The creatures of the Biome. It can be used as a material for Armor customization.

Primal Armor Trim:

A Rare Armor trim uncovered From Suspicious Tar, It can be cloned with Amber and peat.

Relic:
The Relic is currently Just pretty, but It will prove useful in the future.

Reaping Willows:

Reaping willows Grow scarcely in the biome, and can be Harvested for planks (Doors are currently not implemented.)
