Flattological – A Hydrological Addon Datapack

Flattological is a datapack addon for the Hydrological mod, designed to modify terrain generation toward flatter, more navigable landscapes while keeping the mod’s signature style and biome diversity.

This addon reshapes the wild, varied terrain of Hydrological into a more subdued, exploration- and building-friendly world, with features like:

• Flattened terrain for easier traversal and building.
• Dry Oceans and intermittent Rivers, giving the world a parched, ancient look while still allowing for interesting topography.
• Fully playable and survival-ready world generation.
• Retains Hydrological’s biome overhauls and terrain uniqueness.

Recommendation

Pair with a Biome Replacer mod for best biome distribution across the flattened terrain.
