Jugs' Calories adds new survival related mechanics like thirst, body-temperature, food-freshness and crop-nutrient system as well as a revamped, caloric based hunger system.

Gameplay

Instead of the traditional hunger bar, you now have to consume an activity based amount of calories. Food will decay over time, which can be helped with by building a cellar and keeping your food stored in there. When growing crops, they now take much longer to grow and consume nutrients, which will slowly replenish over time when an area of farmland is not being used. You also need to manage your body temperature by utilizing hot and cold blocks and items like a bucket of snow or staying near a campfire. Health now regenerates much more slowly over time, making Golden Apples and Healing Potions much more useful now. Lastly, you need to sleep. Yes, I know. Groundbreaking idea.
