Description

⚙️ VeiniteTech

Dig deeper. Build bigger. Power the impossible. A Minecraft 1.12.2 tech-progression mod built around veinite — a strange, pulsing crystal — that takes you from your first copper ingot all the way to a humming, donut-shaped Fusion Reactor.

VeiniteTech is about progression: every machine you build unlocks the parts for the next one. You'll smelt ores into alloys, assemble circuits, run a research network, generate power, and slowly climb a tech tree that ends in fusion power and dimensional travel. Nothing is handed to you — but nothing is a dead end either. Everything is craftable, and the game tells you what to do along the way.

📖 New here? You don't need this page memorized. The first time you join a world you'll receive a VeiniteTech Guide book that walks you through the basics. And press your recipe-book / JEI key on any item to see exactly how it's made.

🚀 Getting started — your first hour

Follow these steps in order. Each one unlocks the next.

  1. Mine and smelt. Dig for the mod's ores — copper, tin, nickel, zinc, aluminum, and the signature veinite. Smelt ores into ingots in a normal furnace.
  2. Build your first multiblock: the Alloy Smelter. Place the Alloy Smelter Controller, then sneak + right-click it — if you have the casing blocks in your inventory, it auto-builds the whole structure for you. (No blocks? It'll show you exactly what's missing.) Use it to combine ingots into alloys like bronze and steel.
  3. Build the Assembler. Same deal — place the controller, sneak-click to build. The Assembler makes circuits: Basic → Advanced → Elite → Ultimate, plus Processors. These power almost every advanced recipe in the mod.
  4. Upgrade your machines. Craft MK2 → MK3 → MK4 upgrades (one tier at a time) and drop them in a machine's upgrade slot to unlock higher-tier recipes.
  5. Get power flowing. Build a Coal Boiler or Coke Oven → Steam Turbine for early RF, then graduate to the Veinite Reactor. Run energy pipelines to your machines.
  6. Start researching. Build the Research Network (see below) to earn Research Points and unlock armor modules, reactor components, and the endgame MK5 smelter upgrade.
  7. Reach for fusion. With MK5 alloys and a deep component chain, build the Chemical Factory to make fusion fuel, then assemble the Fusion Reactor — the most powerful machine in the mod.

🛠️ The golden rule of multiblocks: place the controller, then sneak + right-click it. It auto-builds if you have the parts, or shows ghost blocks of what's needed. Right-click again (no sneak) to open its menu.

🧭 The tech tree at a glance

Ores ─▶ Ingots ─▶ Alloy Smelter ─▶ Alloys │ Assembler ─▶ Circuits ─▶ Processors │ Research Network ─▶ Research Points ─▶ Upgrades (MK5, armor, reactor) │ Boiler/Coke ─▶ Turbine ─▶ RF ─▶ Veinite Reactor ─▶ (lots of) RF │ Chemical Factory ─▶ Deuterium + Tritium │ ⭐ FUSION REACTOR ⭐

🏗️ Core systems

Materials & the Alloy Smelter

Everything starts with metal. Smelt ores to ingots, then use the Alloy Smelter (a 3×3×3 multiblock) to mix them into progressively stronger alloys — bronze, steel, invar, stainless, and eventually exotic endgame metals like voidsteel and eclipsium. Tier upgrades (MK2–MK5) unlock the higher recipes.

Circuits & the Assembler

The Assembler turns wires, wafers and alloys into the electronic backbone of the mod: Basic → Advanced → Elite → Ultimate Circuits, plus Processors, Memory Modules, and Control Units. If a recipe feels stuck, you probably need to upgrade your Assembler a tier.

🔬 The Research Network

Knowledge is a resource. Build the Research Computer, wire it to Research Servers stacked with Server Racks, slot in RP Drives, and feed it RF. It steadily generates Research Points (RP). Open the Research Computer and spend RP to permanently unlock:

  • Armor modules (night vision, flight, strength, and more)
  • Reactor components
  • The endgame Smelter MK5 upgrade

⚡ Power generation

Machines run on RF (Redstone Flux). Your power journey:

  • Coal Boiler / Coke Oven → Steam Turbine — reliable early/mid power.
  • Veinite Reactor — serious mid-game output.
  • Fusion Reactor — the endgame firehose.

Move energy around with Energy Pipelines (and Item/Fluid pipelines for everything else).

🏭 Chemical Factory & ⭐ Fusion Reactor (endgame)

The Fusion Reactor is a giant donut (torus) multiblock. It runs on two fuels — deuterium and tritium — which you produce in the new Chemical Factory from a multi-step parts chain. To run it:

  1. Pipe deuterium and tritium into the reactor's two fluid ports (either port works).
  2. Feed RF into the controller to charge it.
  3. Open its GUI and flip the toggle ON — it ignites and pours out massive power from the top port.

Building it is a real project: expect a deep GregTech-style component tree (superconductors, fusion coils, confinement coils, plasma injectors, a fusion core). This is the mountaintop.

📦 Storage & logistics

  • Storage Bins hold enormous quantities of a single item — and keep their contents when broken, so you can relocate a full bin safely.
  • Item / Fluid / Energy Pipelines (with restrictors) automate moving resources between machines.

💰 The economy

  • ATM — convert items into in-game currency.
  • Marketplace — buy and sell items with other players.
  • 🎁 Crystalix Cases — a collectible case you can buy on the Marketplace. Opening one plays a satisfying unboxing animation and returns a random crafting material (great as a currency sink), with a small chance at a flashy Crystalix cosmetic weapon.

🌀 Dimensional Portals

Build a portal frame and link two portals to teleport across distance (and dimensions). Configure a destination, power it, and step through.

🛡️ Veinite Tech Armor

Craftable power armor with an upgrade system — research and install modules to add abilities like night vision, step-assist, strength, and flight.

🗡️ Crystalix cosmetics

Pure flair: unbreakable, diamond-tier cosmetic weapons with animated textures — including two shimmering Rainbow Swords (with rainbow names) and a certain novelty Spoon. Found rarely in Crystalix Cases.

💡 Tips

  • Stuck on a recipe? Open JEI (recipe viewer) on the item — it shows every way to make it.
  • "Not Formed"? Your multiblock is missing a block or has one in the wrong spot. Sneak + right-click the controller to auto-fix it (with parts in your inventory), or read the chat hint.
  • Power first. Most machines do nothing without RF. Get a generator and pipelines going early.
  • Upgrade in order. Machine tiers go MK2 → MK3 → MK4 (crafted) → MK5 (researched). You can't skip ahead.
  • Don't toss "useless" alloys. Endgame metals and circuits gate the fusion chain — bank them.

🎯 The goal

There's no boss to kill — the goal is the build. Take yourself from a stone pickaxe to a self-sustaining base of humming machines, a research lab, and a fusion reactor lighting up the night. Power the impossible. ⚡
