Features
A lightweight audio framework allowing you to drop in custom .ogg files to give every weapon and tool its own signature sounds, down to the specific material.
Drop in unique swing sounds for every weapon or tool.
Bypassing global resource pack limits, drop in unique hit sounds for every weapon, tool, or empty hand.
Drop in unique use sounds for drawing bows, charging tridents, and more.
Drop in unique swap sounds for switching weapons or tools.
Easily override the default audio under the following vanilla sound events:

- Fabric:
- Press F12 (Rebindable) to open the Config Menu:
- Click Open Folder for the desired item category.
- Drop in your .ogg files.
- Press F3 + T to apply.
- Press V (Rebindable) to open the Mapping GUI (Advanced):
- Freely assign any item to any item category.
- Create custom item categories.
- Create custom material variants.
- Export your setup to a .zip file using the built-in ResourcePack Exporter or /clangor export:
- Apply it to other game instances.
- Share it with your friends.
- Publish it on Modrinth, CurseForge, or our Discord.
- Audio Requirements:
- Format: .ogg
- Channels: Mono
- Sample Rate: 44100 or 48000 Hz
- Bitrate: 128 or 192 kbps
- Naming: English-only, no special symbols
Compatibility
- Automatically recognizes common, properly named weapons and tools, matching them with preset, material-specific sound categories.
- Uncommon or non-standard items can be manually assigned via the Mapping GUI.
*Preset Material Variants: general, wooden, stone, copper, iron, gold, diamond, netherite
- Dual-wielding has per-hand sounds.
- Better Combat's default weapon swing sounds will overlap with this mod. Toggle them in either config screen as you prefer.
