Overview

SoulHome is a mod all about having a portable base that you can take with you wherever you go. This mod takes its inspiration from the Spectre Key by Random Things. Afterwards, I also realised there was a book by Sarah Lin that was also called SoulHome, the magic system complementing perfectly and completing my ultimate vision for the mod.

Current Features

A whole dimension, just for you!

In this mod, your soul is a whole dimension, bound to the UUID of your account and essentially resembles a skyblock map. This is your safe area, where you hold dominion over all things. Nothing can hurt you here. Even jumping in the void below will only eject you from your soul, putting you right back where you were before you entered your soul.

There are only two items to the mod right now: a Patchouli guidebook, and a special key. By holding the [Use] button on the key for the full duration, you and all other entities within the circle that expands from your feet will be transported to your soul. This is how you'd bring friends and livestock into your soul.

The mod has a very low barrier of entry by design. Simply combine an ender pearl with 3 iron in a shaped recipe (may be best to have JEI just in case) and you will get your SoulKey. Combining your SoulKey with a book will give you a guidebook to the mod. The recipe does not consume the SoulKey.

Planned Features

Build multiblock structures in your soul to give you buffs

For example, building a farm in a specific multiblock structure might mean that every time you eat food, you get more saturation out of each thing that you eat. Or perhaps you'd build an armoury in order to gain a buff to toughness. My intention here is to provide unique buffs that you wouldn't get from potions, but I imagine some of those may also sneak in too.

Inter-Mod Compatibilities

Patchouli - because I love well done in-game wiki/guidance. This mod uses advancements and patchouli to guide the very small amount of progression available.
