Create: Renewables

Welcome to Create: Renewables — a late-game challenge for serious engineers! This addon breathes new life into your world by making four key resources fully renewable through believable new machinery chains. If you’ve ever looked at your dwindling zinc supply and thought “I should be able to automate that,” this mod is for you!

Rather than conjuring new elements from thin air, the feeling of these recipes is that you're crafting synthetic substitutes — alloys, composites, and chemical stand-ins that sufficiently replicate the properties of the real thing. Each new process feels grounded in Create’s logic; you'll soon forget that these recipes aren't part of the core mod.

Copper Nuggets — Alloyed Gold

Heated mixing of gold nuggets and redstone dust in a Potion of Healing bath, with clay as a binding agent, yields an alloy that mimics copper in every way.

Zinc Nuggets — Alloyed Iron

Blend iron nuggets and prismarine crystals in a Potion of Night Vision, toss in a sea pickle to kick off the chemical reaction, and watch your mixer churn out shiny zinc.

To support the Zinc recipe, you can now automate prismarine as well. Compress cobblestone, quartz block, and glowstone dust in a Potion of Swiftness!

You can then crush the prismarine block into prismarine crystals. One prismarine block yields 1.5 prismarine crystals.

Blaze Rods — Infused Sticks

Through a multi‑step assembly line, the humble stick becomes a suitable substitute for blaze rods. Pour lava, dust with glowstone, and press it tight. As of version 1.3, requires three iterations.

Netherrack — Metamorphic Processing

Pour red sand, quartz, and nether wart into lava, compress it into a solid, and you’ll have a perfect synthetic netherrack!
