Shard's Compats: Voltaic-Sable Compat

A server-side compatibility mod that lets Voltaic survive on Sable physics airships, with optional Ballistix support for ordnance on Create: Aeronautics contraptions.

This mod patches bugs that appear when grid-based power and ordnance mods are assembled into Sable sub-levels. It is server-side only — players connecting to a server do not need it installed.

What it fixes

With Voltaic + Sable (required)

• Block duplication on disassembly. Disassembling a physics object could duplicate blocks on the structure's edge — the block survived in the world and dropped as an item. This is patched.
• Overworld-to-sublevel changeover. Fixes the transition so grid power and connected machinery survive being assembled into, and disassembled out of, a Sable sub-level.

With Ballistix (optional)

• Dispenser stack bug. Deploying from a dispenser failed to subtract the deployed item from the dispenser's stack. This is patched.
• Launchers and turrets on contraptions. Allows Ballistix launchers and turrets to function while mounted on an assembled Create: Aeronautics contraption.

If Ballistix is not installed, the Ballistix-related patches are skipped automatically — the Voltaic + Sable fixes still apply.

Installation

Install on the server alongside Sable, Voltaic, and (optionally) Ballistix. No client-side installation is required.

• This is a compatibility patch, not a content mod — it adds no blocks, items, or recipes.
• Built for the Aeronautic Warfare modpack stack: Create, Create: Aeronautics, Simulated, and Sable.
