📖 What is Panic Button?

Panic Button is a lightweight Fabric mod that lets you hide specific mods from Mod Menu with a single key press. No uninstalling, no restarting – just press and they're gone. Press three times and everything is back. Perfect for when you need to be discreet fast.

⚙️ How Does It Work?

1. Bind Your Key

Go to Options → Controls → Panic Button and assign your preferred key.

2. Select Your Mods

Open Mod Menu and click Panic Button → Config. You will see all installed mods with a checkbox next to each one:

🛠️ Technical Details

The mod works by injecting a Mixin into the Mod Menu mod list renderer. When Panic Mode is active, the mixin filters the mod list before it renders, only showing mods that are on your personal whitelist.

Nothing is deleted or disabled – mods are purely hidden from the UI.

📦 Installation

1. Install Fabric Loader
2. Install Fabric API
3. Install Mod Menu
4. Drop panic_button.jar into your /mods folder
5. Launch Minecraft and bind your key

🔧 Compatibility

⚠️ Mod Menu is required for this mod to work properly.

Respect each server's rules. If this mod is not permitted on a server, please refrain from using it, as it is designed primarily for trolling.
