Helpful Armorers

Helpful Armorers is a Minecraft Fabric mod that gives armorer villagers a new useful behavior: they can repair damaged iron golems.

When an armorer finds a nearby injured iron golem, it will approach the golem while holding an iron ingot and repair it. Armorers are careful, though — they will avoid repairing during dangerous situations, at night, or after taking damage.

Feature Description Iron Golem Repair Armorer villagers can repair nearby damaged iron golems. Iron Ingot Animation Armorers hold an iron ingot while going to repair a golem. Danger Awareness Armorers avoid repairing when hostile mobs are nearby. Self-Preservation Armorers stop repairing after taking damage. Night Safety Armorers do not risk repairing golems at night. Vanilla-Friendly Keeps the behavior simple and close to vanilla Minecraft. Lightweight Focused only on improving the armorer and iron golem interaction.
