Bedrock Miner

Bedrock Miner is a Fabric mod that allows players to mine bedrock in survival mode through a fully configurable and balanced mining system.

Instead of simply making bedrock breakable, the mod integrates with Minecraft's mining mechanics and lets server owners or players decide exactly how difficult bedrock should be to obtain.

Configurable Bedrock Mining

Every aspect of bedrock mining can be customized through an in-game configuration screen (Mod Menu + Cloth Config):

• Adjustable bedrock hardness
• Configurable minimum pickaxe tier required to mine bedrock
• Optional bedrock block drops
• Changes can be made without editing configuration files manually

Vanilla-Based Mining Formula

Mining speed is calculated using Minecraft's real tool mining speeds:

Pickaxe Mining Speed Wood 2 Stone 4 Copper 5 Iron 6 Diamond 8 Netherite 9 Gold 12

Efficiency enchantments use their vanilla mining bonuses:

Efficiency Bonus I +2 II +5 III +10 IV +17 V +26

The Haste effect is also fully supported and further increases mining speed.

Progressive Mining

• Continuous mining is required
• The mining process resets if the player stops mining
• Vanilla-style crack animation is displayed during mining
• Tool durability is consumed correctly
• Works in both singleplayer and multiplayer

Default Settings

By default, the mod is configured to preserve game balance:

• Hardness: 150
• Minimum Pickaxe: Netherite
• Bedrock Drops: Disabled

This makes bedrock a late-game resource that still requires significant investment to obtain.
