Description

Lattice — local couch co-op for Minecraft

Lattice lets several people share one Windows PC and play Minecraft at the same time, each in their own instance with their own keyboard and mouse. This Modrinth page is the Minecraft adapter; it works together with Lattice Weaver, a Windows companion app distributed separately that assigns each player's devices and routes them to the right instance.

Features

  • Separate keyboard and mouse per player, routed to separate Minecraft instances.
  • Player 1 keeps normal native control; extra players drive their own instances.
  • In-game slot-aware HUD and a virtual cursor in each player's color.
  • Player 1 master settings screen to control other players' instances: audio, video, resource packs, and per-slot profiles where supported.
  • Per-instance settings/profile snapshots so each instance keeps its own options.

Minecraft Versions

Supported 1.20 through 26.1.2 on Fabric. Download the jar matching your version range.

Setup

  1. Install Fabric Loader and Fabric API. Install Mod Menu if you want the in-game config screen.
  2. Put the matching Lattice jar in each instance's mods folder.
  3. Install and run Lattice Weaver from bide.cx and follow its guided setup.
  4. Assign each instance's player slot through Weaver's setup or with the launcher JVM arg:
    • -Dlattice.player=0 for Player 1
    • -Dlattice.player=1 for Player 2
    • -Dlattice.player=2 for Player 3
  5. Start Weaver first, then launch each Minecraft window.

Lattice Weaver is required for routing and is a one-time purchase with a free trial available.
