Chunk Courier fixes that. It automatically keeps chunks loaded around any moving minecart, so your carts complete their journeys whether you're watching or not.

How It Works

Chunk Courier listens for minecarts with horizontal movement above a configurable speed threshold. While a cart is moving, it holds a chunk-loading ticket for the surrounding area. The moment it stops or is removed those tickets are released and chunks unload cleanly. Everything runs server-side, so clients don't need the mod installed.

Installation

• Dedicated server: install Chunk Courier on the server only.
• Singleplayer or LAN host: install Chunk Courier on the host instance.
• Multiplayer clients joining a server that has Chunk Courier do not need the mod installed.

Configuration

A server config file is generated automatically on first launch.

• enabled: Enables or disables the chunk loading system.
• debug: Enables furnace minecart debug system messages when a cart enters a new chunk and loads new chunks.
• chunk_radius: Number of chunks to keep loaded around a moving minecart.
• minimum_horizontal_speed: Minimum horizontal speed before a minecart starts loading chunks.
