Blockcraftery: Refurbished

Blockcraftery: Refurbished is an unofficial, patched version of the original Blockcraftery mod for Minecraft 1.12.2.

I originally developed this while playing Meatballcraft and experienced a frustrating bug related to glowstone, and was surprised nobody had come up with a fix in 7 years. It took me a day or two to figure out, so now I'm sharing it for everyone else.

This version of Blockcraftery requires:

• Cleanroom Loader
• Java 21 or later
• MysticalLib
• Fugue to fix bugs in MysticalLib

Features

Blockcraftery adds framed blocks, which can take on the appearance of other blocks. These include:

• Blocks
• Stairs
• Slabs
• Fences
• Walls
• Slants & Slant corners
• Pressure Plates
• Doors (buggy)
• Trapdoors (buggy)

All framed blocks have reinforced counterparts, which are fireproof and blast-resistant. You may paint a block with Glowstone to turn it into a light source.

Patches

The Refurbished version of the mod currently fixes the following bugs:

• Blocks lose their glowstone in multiplayer and across chunk unloads (#49)
• Glowstone can be applied infinitely to a framed block, but only one will drop when breaking the block
• Reinforced slabs become a non-reinforced double slab when placed together (#66)
• Reinforced blocks don't have block tints applied to them (#34)
• Doors, trapdoors, and pressure plates don't have block tints applied to them
• Race condition during rendering (the dreaded CCL error)
• Crash when slotted with certain special blocks (#85)

More fixes and features are planned! Some big ones on my list:

• Support placing framed blocks from your inventory, pre-framed (#46 )
• Pick block support for pre-framed blocks (#69)
• Blocks inherit the sounds of their cover (#38)
• Blocks inherit the particles of their cover
• Remove dependency on MysticalLib
