Machete Delight

The machete is a feature from the discontinued mod Nether's Delight. The machete comes in gold, iron, diamond and netherite. It is halfway between a sword and a knife.

• It gives you Farmer's Delight knife-exclusive drops when used to kill mobs, but it can't be used on a cutting board. 
• It takes sword and knife enchantments, including Sweeping Edge and Backstabbing, but no tool enchantments, i.e. efficiency.
• It has slightly lower damage and speed than a sword, and with enchants it has lower dps than a knife against single targets but makes up for it with Sweeping Edge.

The main purpose of the machete is killing mobs that have food drops in high efficiency mob farms where Sweeping Edge is a necessity.

Thanks to Nether's Delight for originally creating the machete and using the MIT license, allowing me to port over this feature I've missed so much.

You can technically run this mod without Farmer's Delight, although it wouldn't be very useful, because without the special drop, it's just a weaker sword.
