Getting Started

Projecting.

type /astral project to enter the Astral dimension..

Your body is left behind at your current position in the Overworld as a Meditating Body entity.

You are teleported to the Astral

Returning to Your Body Fly back to within 3 blocks of your body's position.. there will be an arrow

You cannot roam more than 800 blocks from your body

Once you return to the body, you're teleported back to the Overworld

If Your Body Dies

Your Meditating Body entity has health equal to your max health and can be attacked by mobs or players.

If it's killed, you die — your player is killed in the Overworld.

Fractal Bending Integration

If installed, astral projection requires meeting element-specific biome conditions:

Airbenders — Must be in a mountain biome Waterbenders — Must be in a cold biome (temp < 0.2) or ocean biome Earthbenders — Must be below y=42 Firebenders — Must be within 6 blocks of a fire source (campfire, soul campfire, fire, soul fire, or lava)

Bending is disabled while projected and restored when you return. If Fractal Bending is not installed, these checks are skipped.

Body Possession

steal another player's body.

While astral-projecting, fly near another player's meditating body (within 3 blocks). If no beacon is within 40 blocks of that body, you can possess it. On possession: You are teleported to the Overworld at their body's location. Inventories are swapped between you and the target. Skins/GameProfiles are swapped — you appear as them, they appear as you. You get their game mode; they are stranded in the Astral as a spectator. The possessed player can reclaim their body by returning to within 3 blocks of you (now in their body) in the Overworld. Possession also ends if the possessor leaves the Overworld, or either player disconnects

Command Blocking While in the Astral dimension, the following commands are blocked:

spawn, home, sethome, setspawn, rtp, back, tpaccept, tpa

Players are notified with a message and reminded of their body coordinates.
