Powers in the addon are built up around three categories. Race - Subclass - Special Technique. The abilities are revolved around Stamina and Mana usage

Stamina and Mana

Upon committing to a race, you’ll be granted a stamina/mana bar. Note that this bar is slightly delayed in terms of visually representing your stamina and mana. This is only visually and doesn’t negatively impact gameplay itself, so keeping track of stamina/mana usage yourself can be helpful.

Stamina and mana work the same, except that stamina is used for physical abilities, and mana is used for magical abilities.

To increase stamina and mana, you simply have to use stamina and mana. Your stamina/mana max represents the maximum amount of stamina and mana you can store. Once you’ve in total used for example the same amount of stamina as your max stamina, your stamina increases by 1. If you have 50 Max stamina, you have to use 50 stamina to reach 51 Max stamina. If you have 51 Max Stamina, you have to use 51 stamina to reach 52 Max Stamina. When reaching 2000 max mana/stamina, you'll only need to use 2000 mana/stamina to increase your amount, even if your max is way higher than 2000.

The amount of stamina/mana replenished is 0.75% of your max stamina/mana every 4 seconds. The number is rounded up. An example: If you have 100 Mana, you will regain 1 mana every 5 seconds. When you reach 2000 max mana/stamina, your mana/stamina regen will no longer increase

The amethyst cluster could be used to train mana if you don’t have any mana abilities unlocked yet.

Race

To get any powers or abilities, you will have to commit to a race. Which race you choose, which race you choose, will affect your passive attributes, combat abilities, which subclasses you’re able to get, and which special technique you’ll have the chance of acquiring. Progression of race is related to gaining and using skill points related to that attribute.

Your race determines your base stats such as strength, health, and speed, as well as base combat abilities. A player can not commit to a race if they’re already committed to another race.

All races have a 100% guaranteed way of becoming that race. However, you can also use a pure magic fragment to get a random race. The chances of getting the different races varies. All races has a 10% of becoming a royal, which gives special traits.

Human Race 

Use the steel sword to become a Human. An ability should appear

Demon Race 

Consume a demon heart to become a demon. A demon heart is dropped from killing the Ender Dragon, or a low chance when killing demon mobs/bosses

Goddess Race

Use the goddess light. A craftable item

Fairy Race

Consume the Holy Tree stew. A craftable item

Giant Race

Use the sediment concentrate item. A craftable item

Nephilim

Use the darkened light. Extremely rare items obtained through bosses or by trading a Magical Pilot Item with a level 5 druid villager

Subclass

Upon having committed to a race, you’ll gain the ability to convert into a certain subclass related to your race. Some races have an innate power rather than a subclass. You can also get a secondary subclass power instead of a special technique

Special Technique

A special technique is a unique magical power that you can inherit through right-clicking the item  ‘pure magic’. Pure magic will only unseal your magical powers if you’re committed to a race. An important note is that there can normally only be one of each special technique per server.

Progression of special techniques is generally based on skill points that you acquire by using abilities from your special technique. This means you will unlock more abilities the more you use your power. Special techniques are sometimes unique to specific races. You can also gain the item "Magical Pilot" by resetting your powers at a combined 1000 Max mana and stamina, granting you the ability to choose any available special technique when you've become a race again.

Items

Magical Pilot - If you've used Pure Magic 10 times (and reset yourself with negative magic 10 times), you will be granted the item Magical Pilot. This item allows you to select which special ability you get. Though, special techniques that are already taken by another player will be locked. You have to be a race when using this item. Special Techniques can also be locked because you don't have a compatible

Negative Magic - Crafted from pure magic. This one is capable of removing race, subclass, and special technique. It requires at least 200 Max Mana and Stamina to be used. Be careful! It will also reset your max mana and stamina.

Pure Magic - This can give you a special technique upon right-click. Is made of pure magic fragments.

Pure Magic Fragments - Rare drop from villagers upon death. When right-click, you can send a wave of pure magic that disrupts certain techniques like Infinity. The fragment will disperse upon use.

Special Technique - All special techniques have an item in the creative tab that automatically gives you its powers

Commands

If you’re interested in testing the powers instead of playing the addon, here are some helpful commands. If you don’t understand the system, you might break something, since the system is built up around scoreboards and tags, so don’t use commands in a world you care about unless you understand how the commands may affect the power system.
