JEF is a genuine client-side optimization mod designed to improve performance and reduce loading times for Just Enough Items (JEI).
In large modpacks, JEI can cause significant startup stalls when joining a world, as well as severe frame drops or memory usage when looking up recipes with THOUSANDS of entries. This mod intends to solve these performance issues through multi-threading and bunch of other stuff..
