Nine chest tiers. Hundreds of possible drops. One secret chest nobody sees coming. AdvanceDrop turns every Minecraft advancement into a case opening — and the grind never felt this good.

How It Works

Complete any vanilla advancement, receive a chest item, right-click to open and collect your loot.

Chest Tiers

Tier Loot Dirt Basic blocks, starter food, simple resources Copper Starter ores, coal, utility items Iron Iron tools, weapons, survival gear Gold Golden apples, gold ingots, intermediate gear Emerald Emeralds, enchanted books, villager loot Diamond Diamonds, diamond gear, obsidian Netherite Netherite ingots, ancient debris, top tier gear Secret 3% chance on ANY advancement, rare easter eggs and OP gear Troll Configurable chance for a trick chest filled with dummy drops

Difficulty System

• Easy - Story and basic crafting advancements
• Medium - Nether and exploration advancements
• Hard - End dimension, hidden, and Challenge advancements

Recipe unlocks are automatically filtered out so you never get spammed with chests.

Every chest tier can be crafted directly in game.

Effects and Animations

• Animated HUD popup with tier color on screen
• Screen shake on Netherite and Secret drops
• Particle explosions scaling with tier rarity
• Custom sounds on chest unlock

Config and Commands

JSON config file auto-generated at config/advancedrop.json

Configurable options:

• modEnabled - Toggle the mod on or off
• minChestsPerAdvancement / maxChestsPerAdvancement - Set chest count range
• trollChestChance - Control troll chest probability (default 5%)
• playLevelUpSound - Toggle reward sounds

Admin command (permission level 2+):

• /advancedrop chest <tier> [count] - Spawn a specific chest tier for testing
