Minecraft's old artstyle is still relatively popular, and this is one of many packs trying to recreate that original look, but with a twist; it entirely focuses on the aesthetics of late release Minecraft (i.e 1.8-1.12).

It includes a lot of original textures and nifty editwork, as well as a hybridization of certain cut concepts with their finalized counterparts and reimplementations of previous textures better suiting it stylistically.

In short, it's like if the texture update never happened, an intentionally rougher artstyle, using mostly original sprites styled after the many artists and programmers hired to work on the game pre-jappa. Some textures are more competent, some are less competent. It also covers 1.13, the first update to use Jappa's artstyle.

It also includes modded beta and alpha styled addons, found in the "additional files" tab.

PACP has partial functionality for most versions post item name changes. (w/ some broken paths caused by a few specific version, i.e logo breaks if you return to 1.17, I may make ports for old versions)

I've got a Discord server, if you want to be kept up to date with development of this, and other projects. There's also dev builds.

Do note the server isn't designed to be a large, active hangout spot, the friction placed on joining is intentional.

PLEASE DO NOT REPACKAGE PACP INSIDE MODS OR MODPACKS WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. You can bundle it by having the modrinth link and recommending it. Or as a modpack with the app itself, where both you and myself are rewarded for the downloads, rather than just yourself.
