Fills Voxy's LODs straight from the world seed — a full 2,048 chunk render distance in under a minute

This is an addon for Voxy, so it requires it and doesn't replace it It is supposed to be used INSTEAD of voxy worldgen, not with it

Statistics

Measured on Minecraft 1.21.11, 28 threads, structures on, one seed, back to back

• N-sized worldgen, 2,048 chunk radius (Voxy's maximum render distance): 13.2 million chunks in 40 seconds, about 330,000 chunks/s

NOTE: SeedGen is NOT affiliated with the Voxy or its creators, it only produces LODs for it

Capabilities

• Terrain shape, biomes, surface blocks, trees, structures and scattered decoration, all worked out from the seed.
• N-sized worldgen writes every area at the detail Voxy actually draws it at, by the same rule Voxy's renderer uses, and writes it finer as the player approaches.
• Continuous generation starts on joining a world and keeps the radius filled
• Overworld, Nether and End.
• Explored Areas are saved as normal
• Compatible with ALL NOISE BASED TERRAIN GEN MODS and CUSTOM STRUCTURE MODS

Usage

Runs automatically. Otherwise, Video Settings > Voxy SeedGen, or:

• /voxyseedgen fill [radius] [threads]
• /voxyseedgen stop
• /voxyseedgen status

Settings

• Generation distance: 16 to 4,096 chunks, 256 by default
• Continuous: on by default
• N-sized worldgen: on by default. Off writes block detail everywhere (slow and inefficient, but neccerary in certain modded scenarios)
• Threads: a little under half your CPU threads by default, leaving the rest to the game and to Voxy
• Structures: on by default
• Trees: trees, and the scattered decoration of the Nether and End
• Water features: kelp, ice sheets and icebergs
• Debug: progress and a summary in chat, off by default

Requirements

• Fabric Loader and Fabric API
• Voxy and Sodium

Limitations

• Singleplayer and LAN worlds you host only, since a multiplayer client doesn't know the server's seed
• Areas Voxy already has aren't redrawn, so changed settings only apply to new areas
• The Overworld underground is solid stone, without caves or ores
