# Deprecation Notice For versions **1.21.1 and up**, this is being replaced with the new [**Accessories Compat Layer**](https://modrinth.com/mod/accessories-compat-layer), with exactly the same function besides **needing to install** Curios alongside the new mod! # Accessories Curios Compatibility Layer Such mod acts as a compatibility layer for mods using the [Curios API](https://modrinth.com/mod/curios) to work within the [Accessories](https://modrinth.com/project/accessories) Ecosystem. **DO NOT INSTALL CURIOS, THIS ACTS AS IF CURIOS AS ITS A WRAPPER FOR ITS API.** Any existing Curios data should be transferred into accessory inventory or ejected within the inventory if a problem occurs.
