Alfheim Lighting Engine is suggested because vanilla lighting drastically slows down TF's structure generation.

Why did I fork TF?

Even though it's still an unfinished mod even after 9 years Twilight Forest is still technically actively developed. But sadly 1.12.2 version is kind of dead. This fork is a continuation of Twilight Forest's 1.12.2 version.

Changes:

Adds Twilight Tweaks but more. Check examples for more details.
Fixes door and trapdoor textures.

Also fixes small stuff like Yeti armors enchantment glint, issues that occur when bugs crush on your head etc. etc.

This is an active project. You can create issues and send PR's which is appreciated.

Getting Started
To get started in the mod, you first need to create a portal to access the Twilight Forest, after doing so you're ready to explore!

The portal can be assembles in any shape and size you want, the image above is just the minimum size requirement and the portal can be made in many different shapes and sizes. The portal functions as long as the following conditions are met:
1.) The frame is made out of Grass, Dirt, Podzol, Mycelium, etc.
2.) On top of the grass are flowers, mushrooms, leaves, plants, etc.
3.) The frame must be completely filled with water.
