Performance Presets

The Welcome Wizard lets you choose a performance profile on first launch:

• Performance — lower render distance and reduced visuals for maximum FPS on low-end hardware
• Balanced — close to default settings, recommended for most players
• Shaders Balanced — balanced settings with fast shaders enabled (note: shaders may break some in-world overlays)
• Quality — high render distance and maxed visual sliders for high-end systems
• Shaders Quality — everything maxed with Quality shaders enabled (note: shaders may break some in-world overlays)

Customization and Configuration

This is where SkyBlock Enhanced stands apart from every other pack. Most modpacks drop you in with a fixed config and leave you to sort out the rest. SkyBlock Enhanced gives you a full system for setting up, managing, and sharing your configuration — all from inside the game.

Welcome Wizard

On first launch, a guided setup wizard walks you through:

• Performance Profile — pick the right balance of FPS and visuals for your PC
• Main menu style — choose your preferred menu design
• Tab design — Skyblocker's fancy tab or SkyHanni's compact tab list
• Item background style — pick how item rarity is displayed
• Storage design — choose your preferred storage UI style
• Sword Block - choose if you want 1.8.9 sword block to be enabled when holding right click.
• ScamScreener — Configer ScamScreener Alert Level.
• Modern UI Configer Modern UI config values like custom font and tooltip.
• Resource pack selection — pick from five included packs
• Review + apply — see a full summary of every choice before anything is changed

Resolution-Specific Config Presets

UI overlays shift when your resolution or GUI scale changes — elements that look perfect at 1080p can stack and overlap at 1440p. SkyBlock Enhanced ships with five presets, each with every overlay individually positioned for that exact setup:

The best preset for your screen is applied automatically. No manual overlay repositioning needed.

In-Game Config Manager

Over time you'll configure mods exactly how you like them. If you then decide to share or, unlucky, the config resets, the Config Manager lets you manage all of that without ever touching a file:

• Configuration — browse and apply official presets or your own exported ones
• Export — select specific files, add a name, description, target resolution, and author, then save as a shareable .zip
• Import — load a config pack from the imports folder, preview its contents, and apply
• Backups — create manual backups and restore them at any time; a backup is also created automatically before any preset is applied

Modern Warp Menu

A clean, modern warp interface inspired by the classic Fancy Warp Menu from 1.8.9. Shows a rendered view of all SkyBlock islands with clear warp buttons instead of the default chest GUI.

SkyBlock Enhancements

A lightweight mod for small QoL tweaks not covered by larger mods — Missing Enchants detection, Command Confirmation Disabler, and a /reminder command for custom timed reminders.

Scale Me

Scale your own model, other players, Hypixel NPCs, and held items — including off-hand separately. Includes animation controls (swing animation, 1.8 sword block), player name display in third person, and crosshair options.

Bazaar Utils

Makes Bazaar trading faster and safer — custom buy/sell buttons, mistake prevention for large orders, one-click undercut, undercut chat alerts, item bookmarks, stash claiming via keybind, and price history shortcuts.

Custom Main Menu

A SkyBlock-themed main menu to set the mood the moment you launch. Three styles are available, chosen during the Welcome Wizard:

• Modern — fully custom menu with a custom SkyBlock background
• Modern Minimal — custom buttons with the default panorama background instead
• Minimal — the vanilla menu with an added changelog button; recommended if you have other mods that add buttons to the main menu

Installation Guide

Prerequisites

• A valid Minecraft Java Edition account
• A stable internet connection
• The Modrinth App (free)

Step 1: Download and Install Modrinth

1. Go to modrinth.com/app and download the installer for your OS.
2. Run the installer and follow the prompts (Next → Next → Install).
3. The Modrinth App will open automatically when complete.

Step 2: Add Your Microsoft Account

1. Click Playing as in the top-right corner.
2. Click the dropdown → Log in (green button).
3. Sign in with the Microsoft account that owns your Minecraft license.

Step 3: Install SkyBlock Enhanced

1. Click Discover content (compass icon) in the left sidebar.
2. Select the Modpacks tab.
3. Search for SkyBlock Enhanced.
4. Click ⤓ Install.

Step 4: Allocate RAM

Check your RAM: Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc → Performance → Memory.

To allocate RAM for this instance:

1. Open the instance and click the gear icon next to Play.
2. Go to Java and Memory.
3. Enable Custom Memory Allocation and adjust the slider.

Step 5: Fix "Resource Reload Failed" Errors

If resource packs fail to load, add this JVM argument: -Xss4M

1. Open the instance's gear icon → Java and Memory.
2. Enable Custom Java Arguments.
3. Paste -Xss4M and close.
