The Stairwell adds a terrifying new structure. Its history comes from the SCP universe, where it is referred to as SCP-087, also known as The Stairwell.

This structure is found on the surface and is indestructible. Once you enter, you’ll encounter an endless, dark stairwell that descends deep into the ground. It's very dark inside the stairwell, even light won't help you much. As you descend down, you’ll hear disturbing sounds echoing from below, but the true horror is what might be waiting for you down there...  Will you dare venture into the dark, or will you turn back before it’s too late?

► [OLD] What is my console spaming?

Most mobs use special spawning conditions, which means that these mobs can only appear under certain conditions. If the spawning conditions work, this spam is created in the console.

► [OLD] Why can't I summon a mob?

Spawning Conditions determine which conditions must be met in order to spawn certain mobs. Some mobs only spawn above Y level 60. Some below. Most mobs can only spawn in the overworld than in other dimensions.

► Why are features missing in different versions?

It is recommended to play the newest versions of higher minecraft versions.

Not all features of MCreator available or the same in different versions.
For example: Version 1.19.2 doesn't have the feature of shield, better structure generation or custom villagers, but Version 1.20.1 does have them.

► Why do I get teleported into the sky?

SCP-087 is an infinite stairwell and to make it infinite, it can teleport you up. It could happen that players get teleported into the sky due to the player triggering the block by walking on it and the tick rate of the block that teleports you up. 

This can be turned off by setting the gamerule "EndlessStairwell" to false.

► Where does SCP-087 spawn?

SCP-087 can spawn anywhere on the surface of the overworld, as a structure. There may be multiple SCP-087s.

► Why does SCP-087 appear out of nowhere?

So that the structure of SCP-087 is generated and does not overcrowd the world, SCP-087 uses an invisible block that generates like a structure and generates SCP-087 through random ticks.

SCP-087, The Stairwell

SCP-087 is a dark stairwellthat extends deep underground. Within SCP-087, it is so dark that even light sources provide little help. The blocks that make up the stairwell cannot be broken and slow down the player’s movement. As players descend further, eerie sounds can be heard. Monsters can also spawn in the stairwell. At the end of SCP-087, there is valuable loot to be found, but something awaits there.

SCP-087-1

SCP-087-1 is a humanoid monster with long arms that hovers above the ground. It waits at the bottom of SCP-087, hunting down players. SCP-087-1 deals significant damage, is resilient, and can appear in multiple instances at the bottom of the stairwell. Near SCP-087-1, players are afflicted with the Darkness effect, further limiting their vision.

SCP-087-B

SCP-087-B are creatures that can appear within SCP-087. These creatures may either be the face of SCP-087-1 or a smiling face. If SCP-087-B gets too close to the player, it will trigger a jumpscare and deal damage.
The only difference between the two variants of SCP-087-B lies in their behavior. The Smiling Face will dash torwards players with high speed but a very short jumpscare, while the face of SCP-087-1 will at first look eye contact with the player and then start moving.

SCP-087-2

SCP-087-2 is a shadow form of SCP-087-1 that can also spawn within SCP-087. SCP-087-2 approaches the player only to disappear without dealing damage, but it provides a brief shock moment. Additionally, SCP-087-2 causes light sources like torches to extinguish.
