Description

Fallen Gems & Affixes is a fork of Apotheosis Ascended that adds many more content to the original mod.
Requires Apotheosis, Fallen Lib and Forge version 47.4.+

For version 2.0.7 and below, Fallen Lib version must be exactly 1.2.0

Main Features

  • Augments - New Endgame System

Augments are a new tier of power above gems. They're applied to Crest Slots (converted gem sockets).

Available Augments:

  • Empowerment
    Multiplies gem power by 1.35x

  • Supremacy
    Multiplies affix power by 1.5x. A star symbol indicates which affixes have been boosted

  • Genesis
    Sets affix and gem power to 0.5x. Each unique boss killed permanently increases affix and gem power by 0.05x

  • Duality
    Doubles your crit chance but reduces crit damage by 30%. On crit, splits the hit into physical and magic damage.

  • Cascade
    On overcrit, grants a 35% chance to deal 40% bonus damage for that strike. Scales with crit chance and crit damage above 100% and 200%.

    How to use:
    1.  Craft augments in a crafting table using endgame materials
    2. Convert gem sockets to Crest Slots using Sigil of Ascension in smithing table
    3. Apply augments to Crest Slots via smithing table

    Configuration
  • Augments are configurable via JSON at data/fallen_gems_affixes/augments/
  • Customize which item types can use each augment
  • Adjust power multipliers per augment 

 

  • Affix Scrolls

Each scroll carries a single random affix matching the tier of the enemy that dropped it. Apply a scroll to any compatible equipment at an anvil for 15 Xp levels to add that affix to the item. Each item can hold up to 2 scroll affixes.

  • Cataclysm & Apotheosis Compat 
  • Cataclysm themed Gems
    Added gems for each Cataclysm Boss, that can only be dropped from their respective boss

  • These gems have got 3 tiers
    Epic: 50% Chance
    Mythic: 25% Chance
    Ancient: 5% Chance

    Keep in mind you can only get one gem / drop

    Added 3 new gems with unique bonuses

  • Celestisynth Compat
  • Reworked the weapon's attributes like this:
    Solaris now has +20% Fire Spell Power and Fire Magic Resist
    Crescentia now has +20% Ender Spell Power and Ender Magic Resist
    Breezebreaker now has +20% Evocation Spell Power and Evocation Magic Resist
    Aquaflora now has +20% Nature Spell Power and Nature Magic Resist
    Keres now has +20% Blood Spell Power and Blood Magic Resist
    Frostbound now has +20% Ice Spell Power and Ice Magic Resist
    Poltergeist now has +20% Eldritch Spell Power and Eldritch Magic Resist
    Rainfall Serenity now has +20% Lightning Spell Power and Lightning Magic Resist

  • Reworked the weapon's scaling
    Now each weapon's skill and attack damage scales with their respective spell power (the one granted to them)

  • Celestial Weapons Weapon Category
    Implemented a new weapon category called Celestial Weapons, and added affixes to it, and ofcourse, only the weapons from celestisynth are under this category

 

  • Boss Features
  • Gems in chest loot
    Added gems to chest loot, which means from now on affixed items will sometimes have gems on them

  • Random gems in boss gear
    Added gems to boss gear which means the gear you get from killing bosses will sometimes have gems inside them



    Default chance for these features are 30% for each slot on the item, you can change this value and even turn it off completely in the fallen_gems_affixes.common.toml config file

  • Spawner to Boss Spawner conversion
    Added a feature that made it so any spawner can become a Boss Spawner. Default chance is 15%, can be changed in config

  • Universal Boss Feature
    Any hostile entity has a chance to become an Apothic Boss. Their Stats, rarities are all configurable in a single json file. They drop Affix Scrolls, Enchants and Gem Dust, configurable in a loot modifier.

    Upgraded Gem-Fused Slate, core material for augment recipes
     
  • Sigil of Ascension
    Converts one gem socket to Crest Slot (smithing table)

  • Sigil of Severance
    Removes all augments from item (smithing table)

  • Sigil of Transmutation
    Transfers affixes, gems, sockets, and augments to another item of same category

  • Sigil of Erasure
    Removes all Scroll Affixes from an item (smithing table)

    Allows you to add multiple effects into a bonus

    Allows you to add an attribute and an effect to a bonus

  • Permanent Effect Bonus
    Allows you to add an effect that is permanently on you as long as you are wielding the item 

  • Boss Slayer Bonus
    Allows you to add a bonus that makes you deal increased damage against mobs in a tag located at data/fallen_gems_affixes/tags/entity_types/boss_slayer.json, currently for Bosses and Apotheosis Invaders

  • Boss Resistance Bonus
    Allows you to add a bonus that makes you take less damage from mobs in a tag located at data/fallen_gems_affixes/tags/entity_types/boss_slayer.json, currently for Bosses and Apotheosis Invaders

  • Dragon Slayer Bonus
    Allows you to add a bonus that makes you deal increased damage against mobs in a tag located at data/fallen_gems_affixes/tags/entity_types/dragon_slayer.json, Currently for dragons from Ice and Fire

  • Dragon Resistance Bonus
    Allows you to add a bonus that makes you take less damage from mobs in a tag located at data/fallen_gems_affixes/tags/entity_types/dragon_slayer.json, Currently for dragons from Ice and Fire

  • Hydra Bonus
    Allows you to add a bonus that gives you damage resistance but fire damage deals more to you. Doesn't apply when Fire Resistance is on the player

  • Wet Damage Bonus
    Allows you to add a bonus that makes you deal more damage while wet (in contact with water)

  • Wet Resistance Bonus
    Allows you to add a bonus that gives you damage resistance while wet (in conctact with water)

 

  • New Affix types + Iron's Spellbooks compat
  • Staffs Weapon Category 
    Implemented a new category called Staffs, that can only be applied to Staffs, has compatability with every ISS addon.

  • Adaptive Spell Power type
    Can be used in affix json files, this makes it so if you have a spell power attribute on the item it will only allow those attributes, can be changed in config from strict to soft. Example can be found in the mod under data/fallen_gems_affixes/affixes/staffs/attributes

  • Spell Effect targets
    Added 4 new target types, called spell_damage_self, spell_damage_target, spell_heal_self, spell_heal_target. These are when you cast spells with a weapon in your main hand, examples can be also found under data/fallen_gems_affixes/affixes/staffs/attributes

  • Spell Cast Affix
    Added a new affix type that you can use to cast ISS spells on these triggers: spell_damage, spell_heal, hurt, melee_hit and projectile_hit.

  • Socket Bonus Affix
    Adds extra gem sockets to Mythic+ gear

  • Soulbound Affix
    Keep the item on death, applies to Mythic+ gear

  • Double Strike Affix
    After dealing any onhit damage a % of that damage applies to the target again

  • Autocast Affix
    After casting a spell, cast another spell instantly with no mana cost and cast time

  • Mana Cost Affix
    Spells casted with this item cost % less mana

  • Mana Return Affix
    Spells casted with this item have % chance to return a % of their mana cost

  • Mana Damage Affix
    Spells casted with this item deal % more damage according to a % of your mana

  • Momentum Affix
    An affix for bows that makes the arrow shot deal more damage the further it travels

  • Piercing Arrow Affix
    Arrows shot now pierce through enemies

  • Multi Shot Affix
    Fire X additional arrows, on mythic+ bows the arrows can hit the same target

  • Chain Shot Affix
    On arrow kill, a new arrow shoots automatically towards the nearest enemy

  • True Shot Affix
    Arrows go through arrow immunity

  • Homing Affix
    Arrows home onto the closest mob in it's trajectory

  • Cooldown Reset Affix
    X% chance to reset the cooldown of the casted spell

  • Mana Shield Affix
    While Above 50% mana, reduce incoming damage by X%

  • Spell Focus Affix
    Consecutive Casts of the same spell on the same target stack +X% damage up to X%, resets on spell switch or target switch

  • Spellblade Affix
    Melee hits reduce your active spell cooldowns by X seconds

  • Mana Leech Affix
    On hit, restore X% of your missing mana

  • Berserker Affix
    Each consecutive hit on the same target increases damage by X%, resets on target switch or taking damage

  • Feast Affix
    Killing an enemy restores X% of your max health instantly

  • Afflicted Affix 
    For each negative effect on you, gain X% damage and X% movement speed

  • Adaptive Affix
    each unique damage type you take gives X% resistance to that type for X seconds up to X% per type

  • Fortify Affix
    Your armor value scales up by X% when you are standing still

  • Prospector Affix
    Nearby ores within X blocks glow through walls

  • Mana Block Affix
    Block damage when above 200 mana, and lose mana based on damage amount +X% on every hit

 

  • Max Health Damage Attribute

An Attribute superior to Current Hp Damage from Apothic Attributes that deals damage based on the entity's max health, not current health. An affix has been added that can only occur on Heavy Weapons

Keep in mind this is a very gamebreaking attribute, even values like 1 or 2% are strong, so you might want to turn it off
