Jinxweed CottageCore: Cozy Forever World

Jinxweed CottageCore is my COZIEST modpack yet! This is my truest interpretation of cottagecore to include adventure, building, magicke (light & dark), farming, cooking, baking, collecting, & new dimensions! Jinxweed is meant to be a world you will want to play long-term with about 350 mods & 3000+ quests to guide you.

Side Note: If you watch my series on the above-linked Youtube: I am using Mizuno's 16 Craft Resources. I am not using Optifine, that is a choice you can make. Also, I have enabled all the resource packs I have included in the pack as well as Complementary Shaders Unbound. You can review photos under the media tab.

Let's start with gorgeous scenery provided by Regions Unexplored, Biome Makeover, Maiden's Marvelous Materials, & Mystic's Biomes as the foundation mods to create an atmosphere for exploration. While exploring, you will find structures (not a full list) from AdoraBuild, Moog's series, Create, & Shrines. While out traveling your world, you can bring along your camera from Camerapture & collect photos of all your experiences which you can then place on your walls or even into a photo album. PS: If you like surprises, you can "dig" into Sweety's Archaeology.

PSS: You can also use /wits (What is This Structure) to see what structure you are at or /np (The Immersive Music Mod which also has other commands - see their site) to see what music you are listening to.

To make your cozy cottagecore world even more special, I have added in Origins & Medieval Origins Revival. I thought it might be interesting to have the option of playing as a fae, goblin, elf, pixie, etc. You can also become a mermaid using Mermod.

Yes, there may be a few challenges along the way to keep your world interesting by providing fantasy mobs to include those from Japanese Dungeons & Culture, Integrated Dungeons & Structures, Goblin's Tyranny, Youkai's Homecoming, Gnumus Settlement, & the Goblins Community! They may not be on the friendly side, but what an adventure awaits those who love to engage in a battle here & there.

First & foremost, you will find a plethora of building & decorative materials to include, but not limited to, Chipped, Beautify!, Handcrafted, Furniture Beetle, Tanuki Decor, & Cluttered as well as the Let's Do series for use when building your Minecraft home & beyond. You can even include villagers, as I have included mods that aim to enhance not only your experience but the villager’s experience with Guard Villagers, Villager Names, & special villagers. 

While traveling your Minecraft lands, wildlife abounds not only in the physical form, but you can also listen to their calls. Allow your imagination to run wild… If you like to build for & home your pets & friends, you are in luck with mods such as Critters & Companions, Monsters & Girls series, Fantasy Fauna, Feywild, & Friends & Foes as well as so many more. 

Speaking of traveling, let’s talk about how to fuel your exploring endeavors - FOOD! You can enjoy various cuisine from the easy to pick Wild Berries to culinary delights with choices from the Delight’s mods, Asian Food Cart, Fruitful Fun, & Croptopia Chocolaterie. To quench your thirst along the way, you can bring along Cozy Foods: Milk Tea or drinks from Let’s Do Vinery (not a complete list, of course). 

Returning home is also quite easy with the use of Waystones as well as the ability to set home (/sethome [name]) or use /back & other magickal ways to get back to your safe space with your newly found treasures & collectibles. Do you enjoy collecting? Well, I’ve got you covered with Bok's Banging Butterflies, Plushie Mod, Perfect Plushies, & Plushie Buddies.

Let us not forget the magicke aspect of a cottagecore world! I will be including not just light magic but a little bit of dark magic. To start (as, the theme of this pack is to add in one larger magicke mod at a time - so as, not to become overwhelmed with choices), we will be able to delve into the magicke worlds of Hexerei, Magical Relics, & Enchanted: Witchcraft. Currently, included for magic lovers is Embers Rekindled, Roots, Goety-The Dark Arts, Primal Magick, Botania, Malum, & Hexalia. 

I know magicke is not everyone’s style of play, so I have included Diamethysts!, which to me, feels like a mystical choice for weaponry. 

Also, don’t forget to visit several other dimensions including Hanew Village: The Little Dragon’s Village, The Undergarden, & the Ceilands along with a few others. 

Also, if you like to keep track of things, I have added the Notes mod. You can keep lists there or even create a diary of sorts. One more thing, I have included the Pale Garden Backport: The Garden Awakens for those who enjoy the pale garden aesthetic as much as I do.

PS: There are about 350 mods and, to help you along your way, there are over 2500+ quests with more to come. 

I hope you enjoy this cozy & so dear to my haunted heart modpack! It has taken me several months to collect these mods & make quests with a desire to provide a magickal, inviting, cozy, & creative Minecraft experience. I look forward to seeing your builds, travels, & collections!
