Better Leaderboards is a Minecraft Forge mod that allows you to create beautiful, customizable holographic leaderboards anywhere in your world. Display player statistics like kills, deaths, mob kills, K/D ratio, and playtime with style!

📈 Available Statistics

🎮 Commands

All commands use the /bl prefix. Leaderboard management requires operator permission level 2.

Create a Leaderboard

/bl lb create <id> [statType] [topN] [npcEnabled] [header] Parameter Default Description id required Unique identifier for the leaderboard statType kills The statistic to display topN 10 Number of players to show (1-50) npcEnabled false Reserved for future use header auto Custom header (supports color codes)

Delete a Leaderboard

Check Your Rank (Available to all players)

/bl rank [statType]

Displays your current rank for the specified statistic. Defaults to kills if no stat type is provided.

🎨 Color Codes

Custom headers support Minecraft color codes using the & symbol:

🏆 Medal Colors

The top 3 players on each leaderboard are highlighted with special colors:

• 🥇 1st Place - Gold (#FFD700)
• 🥈 2nd Place - Silver (#C0C0C0)
• 🥉 3rd Place - Bronze (#CD7F32)

⚙️ Technical Details

• Refresh Rate: Leaderboards update every 5 seconds
• Time Tracking: Player time is tracked every 60 seconds to minimize server load
• Actionbar Range: Position indicator shows within 32 blocks of a leaderboard

📋 Requirements

• Minecraft 1.20.1
• Forge 47.4.13 or higher

🔧 Installation

1. Install Minecraft Forge for Minecraft 1.20.1
2. Download the Better Leaderboards JAR file
3. Place the JAR file in your mods folder
4. Start your Minecraft server or client

❓ Troubleshooting

Leaderboard not appearing?

• Ensure you have operator permissions
• Check if you're in the correct dimension
• Use /bl lb list to verify the leaderboard exists

Statistics not updating?

• Statistics update every 5 seconds automatically
• Use /bl lb refresh to force an immediate update
