Real Filing Reborn introduces a powerful filing system that allows you to store vast quantities of items in an organized, compact way.

Features

Filing Cabinet

• Holds up to 5 folders
• Fully compatible with automation (hoppers, pipes, etc.)
• Shift + Right-click to open the cabinet GUI
• Right-click to insert a folder

Fluid Cabinet

• Holds up to 4 fluid canisters
• Stores massive amounts of fluids
• Compatible with fluid automation systems
• Shift + Right-click to open the cabinet GUI

Filing Index Network

• Central controller that links multiple cabinets into unified storage networks
• Range up to 64 blocks with upgrades (base 8 blocks)
• Unified automation access — connect once, access entire network
• Smart routing automatically finds compatible storage across all linked cabinets
• Visual feedback shows network connections and range with wireframe overlays

Ledger Tool

• Advanced linking tool for connecting cabinets to Filing Index controllers
• Single/Multi-selection modes for linking individual cabinets or entire areas
• Visual wireframes show network topology, ranges, and connections in real-time

Filing Folders

Folders come in six tiers. Powerful storage requires investment — early tiers are accessible, late tiers are massive.

• Stores a single item type
• Cannot store items with NBT data (enchantments, custom names, damage, etc.)
• Shift + Right-click the folder to open the assignment GUI, where you can assign, deposit, and extract items directly
• Upgrade a folder by placing it in the top-left of a 2x2 crafting grid with three of the next tier's material in the remaining slots — stored contents are preserved
• Reset an assigned but empty folder to factory default by placing it alone in any crafting grid

Fluid Canisters

Fluid Canisters also come in six tiers.

• Stores a single fluid type
• Compatible with any fluid (water, lava, modded fluids)
• Visual fluid display on cabinet faces
• Shift + Right-click the canister to open the assignment GUI, where you can assign, deposit, and extract fluid directly (to extract fluids, an empty bucket is required to be in the player inventory)
• Upgrade and reset follow the same crafting rules as folders

Range Upgrades

• Iron Range Upgrade: Extends Filing Index range to 16 blocks
• Diamond Range Upgrade: Extends Filing Index range to 32 blocks
• Netherite Range Upgrade: Extends Filing Index range to 64 blocks
