Description
Refined Combat
The goal of this was to make pvp more customizable and balanced also making some new enchants more rare. feedback would be appreciated on my discord server thats where you should report bugs aswell
TLDR (read this and download enchant descriptions and you will be fine)
- combat logging system
- unique/green enchants only available through wandering trader (guaranteed 2)
- only 2 of the unique/green enchants on each item
- elytra firework no longer works (you can do something with firework jump hold your fire and sturdy that can actually go faster)
- You can now have multiple types of protection on one armor piece (full prot 4 + 2 other prot is max)
- mace has cooldown after attack and you hit ground
Mechanics (changed/added)
- you can now have all the different types of prot on one
- Added back shield stunning (breaking shield doesnt give immunity frames)
- Rebalanced the mace adding a cooldown that activates after you hit a mace shot and land on the ground (so you can get combos with it with wind burst ect)
- Added stealth kills with invis so if you die or kill with invis on an obscured name shows up
- removed elytra fireworking
- made it so you can still mace with slow falling
- fixed riptide and depth strider slowing you down
- back ported splash potion duration changes
- backported arrow changes from 1.21.6
- removed randomness for projectiles (like most pvp servers do)
- made explosions damage constant through difficulties
- added new attribute to netherite weapons to ignore some of knockback resistance
- made crystals beds and anchors do no damage
- added combat logging system where the player remains in the world and it also blocks you from leaving with the disconnect button.
- added new type of enchant "unique enchant" can only be bought from wandering traders that are guaranteed to sell 2 you can only put 2 of them on an item they show up green.
- rebalanced protection so the max amount of damage reduction you can have is full prot 4 then 2 of the other types of prot
- added a level cap to anvils
- elytras get disabled if your hit whilst wearing one
Enchant changes
- Balanced breach enchantment Breach only activates after falling like wind burst
- piercing goes through a percentage of armor
- exploding fireworks goes through a percentage of prot but not blast prot
- buffed fire protection so you only need 1 piece to insta put out fires
- wind burst max level to 1
- knockback max level to 1
- impaling now works like bedrock so it does more damage if they are in rain
- blast protection no longer has the explosion knockback resistance
Enchants
- Charged (mace)– Hitting a slam attack charges your mace. While charged, sneaking lets you dash forward.
- Claw (hoe)– Pulls enemies toward you when you hit them.
- Cleaving (axe)– Increases the weapon’s damage and disables shields for longer.
- Frenzy (axe)– The more hits you land without being hit, the faster you can attack.
- Combo (sword)– Building combos increases your damage; at high combos you automatically crit and disable shields.
- Serrated (sword)– Increases weapon damage and deals more damage the farther you are from the enemy.
- Aerodynamic (leggings)– Increases horizontal and vertical movement when using wind charges and firework jumps.
- Traction (boots)– Reduces how much cobwebs and similar blocks slow you down.
- Extended (chestplate)– Doubles the duration of potion effects applied to you, whether from potions or tipped arrows.
- Firework Jump (boots)– Increases firework knockback, allowing you to use it for movement.
- Hold Your Fire (crossbow)– Fired fireworks explode when you sneak or after 10 seconds.
- Kapow (mace)– Slam attacks send enemies downward and apply a stun that disables common PvP items (wind charges, ender pearls, shields, etc.).
- Lift (elytra)– Flying over campfires and other heat sources launches you upward.
- Momento (hoe)– Killing mobs or players causes them to drop their head.
- Sniper (bow)– The farther away your hit lands, the more damage it deals.
- Tipped (crossbow)– Increases the duration of potion effects from tipped arrows.
- Parry (shield)– Shields activate instantly but only for a short time; successful parries reflect damage back.
- Awareness (helmet)– Reveals the paths entities have taken by showing their footsteps.
- Avalanche (mace/axe)– Attacks freeze enemies. If applied to a mace, the freeze scales with the distance fallen.
- Reload (crossbow)– Hitting an enemy attempts to reload your crossbow.
- Overwhelmed (chestplate)– Reduces damage taken depending on how many enemies are attacking you.
- Locked In (helmet)– Halves cooldowns for all abilities and actions.
- Gambit (chestplate)– When your totem activates, you gain temporary resistance and damage boosts. When it ends, you become weakened and vulnerable (both states prevent totem use).
- Slipstream (leggings)– Moving toward an enemy that is moving away charges a dash. Sneak to dash forward.
- Sturdy (elytra)– Prevents your own damage from disabling Elytra flight and increases the velocity damage required to disable flight.
- Gluttony (helmet)– You eat food twice as fast, but take increased damage if hit while eating.
- Purify (helmet)– Eating food removes all negative status effects.
- Searing (sword)– Deals extra damage to enemies that are on fire.
- Weave (sword)– Allows you to move and attack through cobwebs, grass, and similar obstacles.
Potion Effects
- Frost Resistance - removes the slowness effect you get when your frozen
- Quantum Locked - gotten from right clicking an endermite with an arrow and it disables your ability to pearl
- Rebirth - when you pop with the gambit enchant it buffs you with extra damage and extra protection
- totem sickness - given once your rebirth runs out it reduces your damage and protection
