This mod is a 1.20.1 Forge & 1.21.1 Neoforge mod that currently adds 1 biome; The Grand Geyser Fields!  As well as several mobs, plants, a new woodset

This mod only adds 1 biome at the moment but will eventually add a few more! Each biome is based on locations or biomes that give off unique vibes. The mod is partially educational to teach people about animals, plants, etc in given area.

The Grand Geyser Fields:
A atmospheric biome best known for it's geo-thermal features such as geysers, hotsprings, and mud-pots making it one of minecrafts natural wonders!  The biome is abundant with Whitebark Pines, Geothermal features and abundant wildlife and flowers.  Animals added are mostly focused on the Geyser Field biome, though will spawn elsewhere in your world.  Additionally,  new structures have been added; Visitor's Center & Observation Tower which can spawn in several biomes across your world.  A new villager profession called the Park Ranger that has Whitebark Pine Bookshelf as it's work station.

New Mobs Include:

Cinnamon Bear:
Danger: Neutral

A neutral mob that comes in 3 coat colors.  These fat bears will often pester you if you have sweets. Don't do so or else they will go sugar crazy and get aggressive.  To pacify them use splash potion of herbal remedy.

Spawns in: Geyser Fields, Wooded Badlands, Taigas, Old Growth Taigas, Birch Forests , Windsept Hills, Meadows.
Based on real life black bear subspecies.
Can be bred with: Salmon or Sweet Berries

Pronghorn:
Danger: (Passive)

A passive mob with 2 variants that can run fast and if killed drops Pronghorn Prime Rib!

Spawns in: geyser fields, badlands, plains, desert, snowy plains, and meadows!
Can be bred with:  Wheat

Puma:
Danger: Hostile
The apex predator of the geyser fields and a neutral/hostile animal. Best to keep afar from pumas. They will hunt  prey including farm animals and if observed from 15 blocks or further away can drop special loot from kills! Use a goat horn to keep them away from you. But advised to still keep respectable distance.

Spawns in: Geyser Fields, Badlands, Stony Peaks, Windsept Hills, Taigas, Groves, Old Growth Spruce, Taiga, Swamps and Jungles!
Can be bred with:  Rabbit or Mutton

Mountain Bluebird:
Danger: Passive
A small blue bird that often lives in many mountainous and alpine regions of your world.

Spawns in: Geyser Fields, Windsept Hills, Windswept Forests, Taigas, Old Growth Taigas, Snowy Taigas, Groves
Can be bred with:  Seeds

Rubber Boa:
Danger: Neutral (though friendly)
A small neutral mob that won't hurt you unless you attack it. This tiny alpine boa is friendly by nature and can be picked up with a pot. If you punch them however they will use their club tail to punch you back!

Spawns in: Geyser Fields & Old Growth Taigas
Can be bred with:  Rabbit's Foot

Seeper:
Danger: Neutral
Seepers are a unusual variant of the creeper endemic to the Geyser Fields biome. Legend says they are born from  a creeper that died in a geyser and got encrusted with geyserite.
Seepers are a neutral mob that unless provoked will attack using scalding geyser water.

Spawns in: Geyser Fields

Park Ranger (Villager Profession)

A new villager profession that uses a Whitebark Pine Bookshelf as a work station.
Park Ranger Villagers spawn exclusively in Visitor Center & Observation Tower structures though can be given to any villager with Whitebark Pine Bookshelf.

Structures:

Observation Tower:

A lookout tower to scan the horizon for anything. A single park ranger and some goodies can be found at the top!  Great place to take a break and appreciate your surroundings!

More structures will be added later on

Cross Compatability:

The Great Outdoor's biomes are compatible with other mods if they have certain mobs, plants, structures etc tagged properly.

The mod should be compatible with most mods, with some issues possibly with world gen tweak mods outside of Tectonic & Terrablender

This mod was tested and is compatible with terrain world gen mods like:
-Tectonic & Terrablender

Known cross compatability with:
- Windswept, Mowzie's Mobs, Everycomp, Enviromental, Verdant Vibes, Barnyard Buddies, Natural Decor Mod and more!

Mod Dev Note:

In real life PLEASE be aware of your surroundings and keep safe distance when hiking especially around wildlife when exploring the wilderness.  Especially for big predators, hazardous terrain or dangerous situations can get you hurt, the world isn't like minecraft. Please don't collect flowers, animals or rocks in protected habitat in real life either. Nature needs to be preserved & protected! :)
