FLAWLESS HORROR: Winter Survival

This modpack contains the most terrifying monsters in Curseforge that actively stalk you, carefully selected through many playthroughs and constantly being updated. 

A terrible accident occurred that corrupted your world, and you are stranded in an apocalyptic winter land filled with monsters, struggling to stay warm and find food in a never-ending blizzard.

Mining will be essential to get resources. The y-level reaches -512, so there is plenty to explore underground.

The usual hostile mobs are absent, if not rare. Most have been driven out by these creatures, but you can easily obtain/craft what they had to offer.

Your goal is to end the eternal snowstorm, and you can progress through the game and complete quests to eventually do so. 

HOW TO USE PROXIMITY CHAT

The Essential mod allows players to use proximity chat in multiplayer worlds.

First, add your friends who downloaded the modpack. Do so by clicking 'social' in the far right.

Right above the 'social' button, click the button marked by a globe to host a world. You can invite your friends or they can join by themselves. Once they do so, you will be able to hear them in game if they have a mic and you are close to them. 

To fix issues, go into the voice chat settings ('v' on keyboard --> 'settings'), and make sure the microphone and speaker are the same by clicking 'select microphone' and 'select speaker'. There are many more troubleshooting methods on youtube.

Open the questbook that is provided upon starting for a basic guide and some help on how to survive.

Once the questline is completed (or even before), there are several dimensions that you can explore and progress through. Those worlds aren't corrupted, at least by the monsters in your world.
