Nyx is a mod the Rebirth of the Night team helped commission to further amplify the "night" aspect of the modpack. Unfortunately, due to internal complications with the modder, we can no longer make commissions to update the original Nyx mod. Since the mod is under the MIT license, we're making a fork so that we can edit and update the mod freely. Like our other mods and forks, this fork is made by a collaborative effort of the dev team, recruited and/or commissioned mod developers, and community members. Our goal is to give back to the MC modding community by providing as many config options and customization for modpack developers, as well as fixing any bugs that may occur. We plan to continue support for 1.12.2 for quite some time.

More changes will follow in the future, and we will update this fork if Ellpeck decides to continue updating Nyx. Please make suggestions and make bug reports on our GitHub! Thank you!

Changes from the original Nyx mod:

- Added a config option to adjust the multiplier damage of the Meteorite-Reinforced Bow

- Added a config option to change the lunar water item

- Added experimental options for dealing with meteors in unloaded chunks to hopefully reduce lag
