Introduction

GregTech: Quantum Transition (GTQT) is an extensive, heavily modified modpack centered around GTCEu, GTQTCore, GregicalityMultiblocks, and other GregTech-related mods, seamlessly integrated with popular mods like Thaumcraft, EnderIO, Forestry, and more. GTQT revolves around scientific research as its core development thread, supported by industrial multi-block machines and fueled by foundational chemical engineering. It aims to deliver a unique and unprecedented gaming experience to players. To achieve this, the team has developed GTQTCore (the core content mod), GTQTSpace (space add-on), Drtech, Pollution (Thaumcraft add-on), GregTinker_CEU (Tinkers' Construct add-on), Botania_CEU (Botania add-on), and a series of proprietary mods that interact with mainstream mods, creating multifaceted machines with unique functions and innovative mechanics. GTQT has completely overhauled GregTech's original progression path, expanding each voltage tier by 3-5 times, while maintaining its challenging nature. Newly crafted quest lines (with an average of over 100 quests per chapter!) and refined modifications enhance gameplay, ensuring both newcomers and veterans alike can find enjoyment.

Game Progression

Stone Age: As the last spark of the ruined GregTech Corporation, you crash-land on an unknown blue planet, determined to restore GregTech's glory. Battle monsters, delve into caves for GregTech ores, exploit villages for Tinkers' Construct progression, and uncover treasures generated by Treasure2 across the globe.

Steam Age: Power your workshops with boilers, crafting multi-block steam machines, and mass-producing steel. Industrial blast furnaces, large steam hammers, compressors, bronze smelters, and primitive reactors await. Meanwhile, the mysterious and dangerous Intertwined Worlds hide valuable new minerals.

Low Voltage Era: The challenge begins with tons of forged steel, intricate petrochemical processing, and insatiable chemical demands. Build small workshops from scratch, create new machines to process oil, and light the way with electrolytic cores. Your first mining machine ensures a steady supply of minerals.

Medium Voltage Era: Break through lithography barriers, establish your first server room, and harness CPUs and GPUs for future calculations. Craft high-purity silicon, explore new circuit processes with advanced lithography, extract precious halogens from brine, and refine specialty steels in arc furnaces. Additionally, delve into digital storage technology through magical research.

High Voltage Era: Advance large-scale infrastructure, electrify cleanrooms, build space stations and satellites, and craft the world's first assembly lines. Boost your quality of life with bioengineering and centralized mineral processing. Launch rockets, engage with research systems, and touch the cosmos. Forge your first titanium ingot.

Ultra-High Voltage Era: Break the chains of logistics and mineral scarcity, advancing deep-space exploration and sophisticated chemical processing with network technology. Craft catalysts using nano-coating devices, research advanced materials like carbon nanotubes, graphene, and barium titanate nano-particles. Scientific metal refining processes expand your base rapidly. After alloy smelting breakthroughs, high-capacity machines await. A new nuclear power system unlocks nuclear physics, with pebble bed reactors and cooling towers powering your endeavors.

Superconductive Pressure Era: As platinum processing nears completion, large particle colliders, precision assemblers, PCB factories, advanced photoresists, lanthanides, computers, and gcym multi-blocks keep you busy. Unveil the mysteries of high-energy physics, laying the foundation for theoretical nuclear fusion. With the completion of the space station's core control tower, your industrial base evolves into a space civilization.

Technology

Centered on GTCEu, GTQT comprehensively modifies its add-ons and other mainstream tech mods. The GTQTCore mod, inspired by Epimorphism Core, GregicalityScience, SUSY, GTlite Core, GCY, GTNH, and more, extends GTCEu and other tech mods with around 180 custom and a total of 260 multi-blocks. Unique multi-block upgrades, smart parallel mechanisms, and high productivity at lower voltages set GTQT apart. Research computers, lithography machines, and more accelerate computing gameplay. Hydroelectric stations, transmission towers, and all proprietary multi-blocks (100%!) feature innovative mechanics. GTQT stays unconventional, grounded in reality yet surpassing it, distancing itself from similar GregTech modpacks.

The integration pack has overhauled most production lines, blending a classic chemical engineering approach with innovative development concepts and adopting a tiered, empowerment-driven production model. It introduces brand-new technologies such as petroleum atmospheric and vacuum distillation demulsification, halogen treatment, and photoresist production lines, aligning the chemical technology path with realistic chemical industry principles. It emphasizes streamlined yet aesthetically pleasing designs, eschewing overly complex "chemical simulator" aesthetics.

Integration with Mysticraft 6 is underway, marking the first time Grey's pollution system intertwines with curse waves. Drawing from Mysticraft's ethos, it serves to enhance industrial processes, allowing players to experience a true "science-magic fusion" through Grey's multi-block magical machines. Furthermore, the pack integrates heavily modified and tightly interconnected GT-centric mods like Tinkers' Construct, Forestry, Redstone Arsenal, Applied Energistics 2 (unofficial) with custom AE addons, Galacticraft & Extra Planets, Binnie's Mods, OpenComputers, and more.

Magic:

Encompassing Mysticraft 6 and its extensive add-ons, Botania, Blood Magic, Thaumcraft, and more, the "Magic Sociology" section of GTQT serves as an optional but enriching side chapter. It offers insights into the intersection of digital matter and magic, catalyzing chemical recipes and accelerating multi-block production. Over 30 unique multi-blocks based on the mystical system simplify technological processes, supported by custom pollution mods for spiritual arrays, node creation machinery, and magical biotechnology. Classic Awakened Draconium Armor and convenient gear are also craftable.

Adventure & Exploration:

Crafting immersive environments, the pack introduces unique terrains, diverse biomes, and meticulously selected adventure ruins, offering over 120 randomized relics packed with treasures to accelerate progress. The revamped Twilight Forest is replaced by eerie, interconnected dimensions filled with hidden gems, rare minerals, and swampland specialties. Explore these realms for magical inspiration, forge powerful weapons with Tinkers' Construct to battle Chaos Dragons, uncover ancient technology blueprints, and delve into new multi-block systems. A custom geological system intertwines with cave mods, revealing novel underground ecosystems with dozens of new rocks, underground rivers, stalactites, intricate caves, and richer, uniquely shaped ore veins.

Survival & Base Building:

GTQT resets your dietary system with a comprehensive survival and cuisine system rooted in GTFO, Hunger Overhaul, Spice of Life, Pam's HarvestCraft, Forestry, and custom Grey's Chinese Cuisine addons. The intrusion system from susy and elite monsters heighten nighttime threats, challenging early-game survival. Defend your base or engage in combat with weapons at hand. Utilize zstone, Chisels & Bits, Carpenter's Blocks, and ArchitecturyCraft to construct grand factories, idyllic garden worlds, and futuristic space stations.

Quest System:

A robust quest system spanning technology, magic, and specialized enhancements (e.g., Space Exploration, IoT, Petrochemicals, Bioengineering) is under rapid development. Catering to both server and single-player preferences, the FTB integration includes shop, milestone, sign-in rewards, and difficulty selection systems, optimizing players' gaming experiences.
