Armored Elytra

About the mod

This mod adds armored elytra to the game.

Forging

You can combine any chestplate with an elytra in the anvil to forge an armored elytra.

Splitting

You can split the armored elytra in the grindstone to get back your original items.

Server side

All logic is handled on the server, client side install is only required for model rendering.

Vanilla Tweaks

The mod is compatible with the vanilla tweaks Armored Elytra datapack since 1.21.5 v1.6.0. Installing the mod on the client will make the player models render with the armor and the elytra textures. The mod supports splitting armored elytras made with the datapack.

If installed on client side both the elytra and the chestplate is visible.

Custom item icons

 

Armor type, trim color and leather color icons with elytra at the back.

Custom icons are visible for players who have the mod or the texturepack installed on the client.
