Phayriosis is split into multiple phases, the phase will increase over time. The higher the phase, the more powerful creatures spawn and the more they infect, eventually ending with them being able to infect blocks. There is MUCH more planned for this mod, and I update it every saturday. There are multiple commands to to edit things such as the phase, and the "phase hourglass" item will reveal the current phase and points.
PHASE 1 Abecedarian:
points: 0-200
Phayrectors (the basic infector of the mod) spawn naturally in groups of 4. They will kill and infect everything they come across, but they and the rest of the parasites will target you over any other mob because they see you as the biggest threat. The parasites' corpses cannot evolve in this phase.
PHASE 2 Conversion:
points: 200-3,000
Basic Converted mobs spawn naturally now in groups of 1. (Converted are the infected mobs). The corpses can now grow, they can evolve into various nodes that will hatch into stronger parasites. Most of the nodes evolve into perennial parasites (parasites that stay in one place and usually summon more parasites to defend themselves) but the Primordial egg can hatch into a group of basic+ parasites or a primal parasite (advanced parasites).
PHASE 3 Embryonic:
points: 3,000-10,000
Basic+ converted and other basic+ parasites will now spawn naturally. Corpses can now grow into a beckoning node and networking node. These nodes evolve into much stronger perennial parasites; the nestbeacon and nestnetwork. Although they may seem weak, that is because this is their first stage. Primordial eggs will no longer be able to hatch into a group of basic+ parasites meanign they will always hatch into an advanced or advanced+.
PHASE 4 Primordial:
points: 10,000-200,000
Advanced and advanced+ converted now spawn naturally (things like converted golems and converted endermen). The main part of this phase is that the nestbeacon can now evolve into a nucleus. The nucleus begins the block infection that will slowly infect the entire world. You can craft primordial reactors to permanently kill sections of it, you can also do /phayriosis_open_config command to turn it off completely. Nestperennials will also evolve into hiveperennials now (eg: nestwarden evolving into hivewarden).
PHASE 5 Invigoration:
points: 200,000-500,000
Other advanced parasites will now spawn naturally. (not tanks or assaulters because they are advanced+) The small converted also stop spawning naturally (like the rabbits and chickens). Nestminds can now form, and they are REALLY bad, you need to destroy them as soon as possible. They allow many other things to happen like tumors forming and the parasites becoming stronger. Also they can very rarely evolve into hiveminds. Tumors can form new parasitic biomes around them in small patches (blooming groves and rotting forests).
PHASE 6 Dreadful:
points: 500,000-1,000,000
Advanced+ parasites now spawn naturally (assaulter and tank). Some medium sized converted stop spawning now (wolves, skeletons, cows, and creepers). The block infection is now slightly faster. Crops now die off regardless whether they are in the biome or not (you can craft greenhouse glass to stop this from happening to certain crops). Nestminds evolve into hiveminds much faster, as well as hiveminds having the ability to evolve into dreadminds. And primordial eggs will always hatch into elite parasites.
PHASE 7 Cosmopolitan:
points: 1,000,000+
Elite Parasites Spawn Naturally, there can now be a total of 2 dreadminds per dimension. in fututre updates the rotting forest and blooming grove will generate naturally.
Important items:
- Phase hourglass: a cheap item that when held it shows the current progress of the phase. Can be upgraded into a mind hourglass to show how many powerful minds are present within the world.
- Personal radiation analyzer: shows how much radiation you have. If it is above 10, then the radiation has become dangerous.
- Radiation removal syringes: although the player naturally loses radiation points over time, you can speed it up by using these syringes.
- Biometal synthesis chamber and Plasma generator: these blocks are used to make plasma and biometal very quickly for a small price.
Commands:
- /phayriosis_phase_set sets the phase, if the number you input is greater than the highest phase, then it will simply set it to the current highest phase.
- /phayriosis_points_set sets the points, see above in the phase descriptions to know how many points are in each phase.
- /phayriosis_config_open opens a small gui where you can edit some options for that particular world such as: enableing/disabling the block infection from spreading, enable/disabling parasites from spawning naturally, freezing the phase so it doesn't progress, and more!
- /phayriosis_config_set_max-infectable-hardness sets the max hardness that the block infection can infect. Default is 2.9 so they can infect blocks like stone, dirt, wood etc, but not deepslate because that has a hardness of 3.
- /phayriosis_config_set_block-spread-speed sets the speed of the block infection. Default is 3, minimum is 1, and the maximum is 5. Please note that with the new block infection ticking system, if the speed is high and the infection is huge, it can lag. You can easily remove the lag by slowing down the block infection or turning it off entirely.
- /phayriosis_set_to_max_power sets all world stats to the max, (max phase, extremely high infectable hardness, sets the amount of minds to their max as well, etc)
