Oh, the Horror! is a horror-themed mod dedicated to adding characters and content from various horror franchises (with the rare exception)

POLYMORPH RECOMENDED! Otherwise, Oak Log Bundle cannot be crafted.

!!! I HAVE LOST THE ORIGINAL ASSET FILES AND AM NOT CURRENTLY WORKING ON THIS MOD !!! In the meantime, I reccomend a better mod like Box of Horrors!

Currently, the mod contains...

Six rare mobs:

Obunga
Michael Myers
Jason Voorhees (Part 4)
Jason Voorhees (Retro)
Ghostface
Sadako Yamamura

Two new weapons:

Kitchen Knife - should be compatible with any mod that requires a tool under the tag "forge:knives"
Machete - super effective at breaking plant and leaf blocks

Three new blocks:

Telephone - currently decorative, but a Ghostface spawning event related to the block is planned
TV - Can be turned on and off, has an animated static texture. Needed to summon Sadako.
Oak Log Bundle - A storage block for oak logs. Decorative, perfect for building log cabins.

Two new items:

VHS Tape - can be turned into 2 iron nuggets, or traded to an apprentice villager for emeralds.
Strange VHS Tape - Maybe this one shouldn't be played...

One new structure:

Log Cabin - Complete with old TV! Spawns in oak forests and snowless spruce forests. Currently, the only way to obtain VHS tapes. Now with loot table!

Ghostface spawning event with telephone (once I can figure out a good way to do it)

Obtainable and wearable killer masks (Michael, both Jasons + Ghostface)

Q: When does the remake release?!

A: Soon!!!

Q: Why don't the the killers drop anything special/valuable (yet)?

A: They will! I'm working on it...

Q: What are you not willing to add?

A: Anything that'd change the game too much, fear mechanics (such things are out of my depth). I do not plan to ever add anything on the more mechanically complex side such as Xenomorphs or the FNAF animatronics, and I also will not add anything in the vein of mascot horror games such as Poppy, Banban, Hello Neighbour or Baldi.
