Torch Light

Torch Light creates a much more ambient and immersive world. The pack uses mostly vanilla mobs, blocks, and items so it still feels like Minecraft and has the benefit of texture packs fitting in near seamlessly. There is more focus on changing some of the overlooked mechanics like cooking (Butchery, Farmers Delight, etc.), combat (Shield mechanics, Better Combat, Player Revive, etc.), wood cutting (Panda's Falling Tree's), new animations (Not Enought Animations, First-person Model, etc.), survival (Create, First Aid, etc.) and many more mechanical changes.

There is built in support for shaders, no Optifine needed, but they will need to be compatible with Distant Horizons, I recommend Shrimple or BSL. The additional file titled Torch Light (Textures + Shaders) includes both Patrix32 and Shrimple with some basic settings tweaked already
