You DO NOT have to purchase a server, it is just reccomended to ensure good server performance since essential mod has bugs and can be very laggy.
LORE: Welcome to the lost cities, abandoned buildings can be seen as far as the eye can see, and everything looks run down and uninhabited. Explosion crators can be seen in the streets and buildings, what could they be from? In the caves, villages and bunkers can be found, but there is no sign of life anywhere. The groans of the undead can be heard through the walls and underground.
The zombies in this modpack are very strong and smart. They can mine blocks, place blocks, place and light tnt, track you down whenever you take damage, can hear your microphone, have unique AI, and more! To get the resources to fend off these zombies and survive, you must loot the abandoned buildings and railways to get food, water, and weapons. This modpack is very difficult, so starter kits can be used to make survival easier: guns, ammo, water, and food.
This mod is in early development, not everything is finalized and perfect. This modpack will recieve regular updates and changes.
