What is this mod about?

Recon Omega: Military Armor is a stylized military Armor mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 on Forge. The Armor sets look semi-realistic and will perfectly fit into your MilSim (military simulator/roleplay), multiplayer shooter or zombie apocalypse. Craft an Armory Block to begin purchasing your gear with Emeralds in an intuitive HUD. No guide needed, everything is straight-forward and easy to use!

Features:

Equip your Vests with up to 3 Armor Plates! These will each take a low-damage hit for you - but only if they're dealt by a mob or a player. Perfect to tank a few shots from a pistol, but it'll not withstand a hit from a sniper rifle (firearms not included in the mod!)

Some helmets feature Night Vision Goggles! Use them for immersive night combat! They can be toggled on or off if you so desire (Using V by default). They might be broken for some so I'm looking into it.

Each Armor piece has identical stats to Diamond Armor except it has an additional point of Armor Toughness. Pick any combination of Armor without worrying too much about stats. Fair play between all factions!

When enabled via a gamerule, Hostile Mobs can now spawn with Military Armor! Improve immersion in military or zombie apocalypse or whatever experience you want to create! This is disabled by default.

User safety

This mod has only released on CurseForge, Modrinth, Mcreator and PlanetMinecraft. Files on other websites are not posted by me and may contain malware or viruses.

Available on versions: Forge 1.20.1 (More versions will be available once I'm done adding content)

Dependencies: None besides the mod loader

Future content: In the future there will be more Armor sets and features to further improve the mod.

Fabric? I have no plans for Fabric support currently.

Legacy gear: When the mod updated to version 2.0, some pieces of Armor were left behind as the direction of the mod has changed. They're still in the mod up until 3.0 where they were permanently removed.

Firearms? I'm only focussing on armor, because the weapon mods out there are of very high quality, so there's no need for another one.
