Get ready to face the ultimate frozen wasteland! There are many secrets and surprises that await you in this bleak pack, and it will force you to utilize different mods to achieve your number one goal: SURVIVAL!!

***MAKE SURE YOU COMPLETE THE TOUGH BEGINNINGS MOD IN IT'S ENTIRETY OR IT WILL BREAK OTHER MODS IN THE PACK! CHECK YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS!!***

STEP 1 STAY WARM

Its cold out there so make sure you have your wool armor on to keep you warm. You're also gonna wanna find some sheep pretty soon.

STEP 2 FLINT

You're gonna need to find some flint to make your first tool, the flint knife! and for that you'll need to find gravel. The best place to find it is along a river. Breaking gravel will eventually produce some raw flint. Smash your raw flint onto some stone for a chance to get flint. place the flint above a stick in your crafting table to make the flint knife

STEP 3 FIBER

Take your new knife, find some grass or ferns and chop away until you have at least 2 pieces of plant fiber. Now you can craft your 2 plant fiber into fiber rope for your next tool, the flint axe!

STEP 4 CHOP CHOP

To make your flint axe you're going to need your fiber rope, a stick and a piece of flint. Putting those together in your crafting grid will get you a flint axe, now you can go and get yourself some wood!

STEP 5 NOT JUST ANY WOOD

Youre probably thinking this is the time to make some wooden tools, well you'd be wrong. Put some logs in your off hand and your flint knife in your main hand and right click. You should now have some blocks of wood but you won't be able to make any tools until you cook them.

STEP 6

TOUGH WOOD

You're going to need fire, not only for staying warm but also to cook your blocks of wood. Get 7 plant fiber and in a crafting table make yourself a pile of fiber, place it on the ground and right click the pile of fiber with a stick to light it. Right click your blocks of wood on the flame to get tough blocks of wood!

STEP 7 SURVIVE

With your tough blocks of wood you can now make some wooden tools! Make a pickaxe from the tough wood and some sticks, and you have entered the wooden age. Go out there and thrive!!
