Datamancy

Datamancy provides a suite of features that greatly expands what can be acomplished by data packs and resource packs. Whether you're a modpack author looking to tailor the gameplay experience, an adventure map designer crafting a unique story, or a modder developing new content, Datamancy is here to enhance your toolkit!

Tags

Datamancy adds several new tags that bring functionality to their entries. These tags only support adding new entries. Removing entries is not supported and can have inconsistent behavior.

Block Tags

• datamancy:supports_turtle_eggs - Turtles will be able to lay eggs on blocks that have been added to this tag.

Item Tags

• datamancy:brewing_fuel - Items in this tag can fuel a brewing stand. 
• datamancy:distracts_enderman - Wearing an item from this tag in any armor slot will prevent enderman from beoming aggressive when you look at them.
• datamancy:distracts_piglins - Wearing an item from this tag in any armor slot will prevent piglins from becoming aggressive.
• datamancy:prevents_trampling - Wearing an item from this tag in the boots slot will prevent trampling crops.
• datamancy:respawn_anchor_fuel - Items in this tag can be used to fuel a respawn anchor.

Trim Materials

• datamancy:distracts_enderman - Wearing an item that has been trimmed with this material in any armor slot will prevent enderman from becoming aggressive when you look at them.
• datamancy:distracts_piglins - Wearing an item that has been trimmed with this material in any armor slot will prevent piglins from becoming aggressive.
