You DO NOT have to purchase a server, it is just reccomended to ensure good server performance since essential mod has bugs and can be very laggy.

This mod adds the feature from some horror mods, such as the broken script, that respond to your messages in chat! This mod is very lightweight and will not affect performance at all. All triggers and responses are configurable via the config folder. To access the config folder:

open curseforge > click on the modpack with the mod installed > run the game once if not done already > click the 3 dots next to "play" > click "open folder" > open the "config" folder > edit the triggers and responses through "horrormessagesconfig.json"

IMPORTANT: WHEN EDITING CONFIG FOLDER, MAKE SURE TRIGGERS ARE ALL LOWERCASE AND HAVE NO PUNCUTATION (! ? , .)
