DragN’s Bettas and Aquatics

DragN’s Bettas is a small mod that adds cute, colorful betta fish to your game. You can make a custom-sized tank and add decorations to keep your little aquatic friend happy.

Each betta’s pattern/ body type and color is randomly generated! Find a Betta Biome and look for your favorite variations of beautiful betta fish. There’s over 3400 different possibilities!

Upon bucketing a betta, you’ll receive a Betta Guide to help you out when creating your first tank setup. You may also find other fish and aquatics in the wild to add to your aquarium!

As of 1.20.1-1.3, Betta fish now have genders, color rarity, and breeding.

Female bettas are generally slimmer, have smaller fins, and are often duller in color than males. Only male bettas will fight one another. They can be bred with Spider Eyes.

Their colors, markings, and body types are genetic!

Other Information:

-Tanks can be placed next to eachother and dynamically decorated. Rotate around the tank while placing your decor to make it face different directions!

-Decor not only includes the custom ones added by the mod, but also vanilla items, such as:
Sand, Red Sand, Gravel, Dirt, Seagrass, Kelp, Fire Coral Fans, Tube Coral Fans, Brain Coral Fans, and Sea Pickles~

-Algae grows on your tank after 3 days. Use an Algae Scraper to clean it off!

-Any fish that can be bucketed can be placed in a Bettas tank. Feel free to test it out with other modded fish!
