Description

Distant Horizons Pack with Solas Shader

(Minecraft 1.21.11)

This modpack transforms Minecraft into a massive, beautiful open-world experience by combining extreme view distance, cinematic shaders, and modern terrain generation.

Instead of the world disappearing into fog after a short distance, you can see entire mountain ranges, coastlines, and continents stretching far into the horizon, all while keeping smooth performance (depending on your settings and pc specs).

What this modpack includes

Distant Horizons – Ultra-far view distance
Distant Horizons allows the game to render the world far beyond vanilla limits using a level-of-detail system. You can see terrain, mountains, and structures thousands of blocks away without heavy performance loss.

Solas Shader – Cinematic lighting and atmosphere
The Solas Shader adds:

Realistic sunlight and shadows

Volumetric lighting and fog

Beautiful skies, clouds, and sunsets

Reflective water and improved lighting

This makes the world feel more alive and immersive.

Tectonic – Better large-scale terrain
Tectonic reshapes the world with taller mountains, deeper valleys, wider plains, and more dramatic landforms. The terrain feels more realistic and epic, especially when viewed from far away.

Terralith – Expanded biomes and landscapes
Terralith adds dozens of new and improved biomes, such as:

Massive mountain ranges

Lush valleys and plateaus

Unique forests, deserts, and coastlines

This makes exploration more interesting and visually diverse.

What you can do in this pack

See huge mountain ranges and landscapes from extreme distances

Explore a world with realistic, dramatic terrain

Enjoy high-quality lighting and atmospheric visuals

Take cinematic screenshots and videos

Build large bases and see them from miles away

Experience Minecraft as a true open-world game

I recommend that you set the CPU load in the distance horizons menu to ''i paid for the whole cpu'' and let it load in the world for about 20-30 mins, (depending on your pc specs ofc) before you play since it takes some time to load in the chunks.

IMPORTANT: I would recommend to allocate 8Gb of RAM or at least 6Gb depending on the settings you would like to play with.

I have not created any of these mods

Enjoy!
