As of February 17, 2026, ADM Anticheat has officially entered its full V2 development cycle.

Over the past two months, development was paused while I focused on other mods and expanded my knowledge to properly build V2 from the ground up.

V2 is being fully rewritten to significantly improve stability, performance, cheat detection, and overall architecture.

Please note: The V2 update has been postponed until summer due to lack of time and other projects currently at hand. Thank you for your patience.

ADM Anticheat is an advanced anti-cheat system for Minecraft Forge servers providing comprehensive protection against cheats and exploits. This update is the largest and most ambitious yet, focusing on full LAN & mod compatibility, improved security, and async performance.

🚀 New Features & Enhancements

🌐 Full LAN & Mod Compatibility Support

ADM now supports native compatibility with LAN servers, Essentials, and other common Minecraft mods. No more conflicts or false flags - ADM plays nicely with your local environment.

🧠 How It Works: Two Runtime Modes

Production Mode: Enabled on verified servers - all anticheat checks are live.
Hibernation Mode: Automatically triggered on LAN, localhost, or when hosted by common dev tools (e.g., Essentials). In this mode, ADM suspends all anticheat checks but remains loaded.

🧪 Manually Enabling ADM on LAN Servers

To force ADM active on LAN/dev servers, edit the generated config file admanticheat_lan.json and set:

Note: Requires a full server restart (cannot be hot-reloaded).

🔒 ADM Secured Server Verification System

ADM uses a fully encrypted handshake between client and server on player login.
Server sends a special encrypted packet to verify it’s an official ADM Secured server.
Verified servers cause the client to exit hibernation mode and enable full detection.
Ensures ADM stays inactive on unauthorized LAN/local servers but activates instantly when trusted.

🔐 Security First: Full Packet Encryption

All ADM communication uses AES/CBC/PKCS5Padding encryption to:
Prevent packet sniffing/interception
Block replay attacks
Hinder reverse-engineering
Security designed for high performance with seamless gameplay.

⚙️ Massive Codebase Refactor & Async Support

Complete backend code restructure for modularity and maintainability.
Removed dead code, improved utilities, and reorganized packages.
Async task handling returns to reduce server lag and improve performance on large servers.
Larger .jar file reflects new functionality and future-proof design.

🛠️ Fixes & Optimizations

ADM inactive in singleplayer mode to avoid TPS drops.
Essentials hosting conflicts fixed (no crashes or misdetections).
Key lag and tick delay issues patched by moving tasks async.

⚠️ Feature Adjustments

Fly & ESP Detection modules are temporarily disabled due to instability.
Please use trusted external plugins for Fly or ESP detection until rebuilt.

🧩 How To Use ADM

📥 Install ADM Anticheat on your client with mods/resource packs to whitelist.
🎮 Launch Minecraft - mod generates admanticheat_id_list.json in your client’s config/admanticheat/ folder.
🖥️ Install ADM on your server in the mods directory.
📁 Transfer admanticheat_id_list.json to the server’s config/admanticheat/ folder.
🔄 Restart server or run /adm reload (note: some settings like LAN toggle require restart).

🛡️ Protection Features

Mod Verification: Rejects players with unauthorized mods (not on encrypted whitelist).
Flexible Matching: Players can join with fewer mods but not additional unauthorized ones.
Real-Time Cheat Detection (where enabled): movement monitoring, vision analysis, block interaction, automated punishments.

/adm reload # Reload config & whitelist (no server restart needed) /adm tempban <player> <time> <reason> # Tempban a player /adm unban <player> # Remove player's tempban
