Adds a Megalodon Origin for the Origins Mod, and a reworked version of the Land Shark Origin from Origins ++. Fabric Only. requires Origins and Pehkui.

I made this mod because a server I am playing on couldn't load datapacks for some reason, and try as I might I couldn't help them... so I instead packed my datapack as a mod! Origins in this Mod:

Megalodon Origin

A very Big Shark. Similar to the Origins++ "Land Shark" Origin, but without the land and a few buffs to compensate

Legendary Size

Stories tell of sharks as big as ships, able to swallow entire boats whole...

The player becomes 4.5 blocks tall

Fish Lungs

You can't be out of water for long unless you have water breathing or are under the effects of an active Conduit. Being in water on the other hand gives you greater vision, the ability to breath, and allows you to mine as if you weren't under water

The Hungering One

You need a lot more food to Survive

Carnivore

You can only eat Meat

Fishy Limbs

You can't move on land without flopping like a fish... unless you are under the effects of an active Conduit

Strong Swimmer

You move faster in water

Dolphin's Grace while in water

Like Water

You don't sink in water

Megalodon Charge

Charge forward with great speed

Megalodon's Might

You hit like, well, a Giant Shark

When wielding a weapon, you do +75% damage. without a weapon, you do 4 damage.

No Shield

You can't use a shield

Natural Armor

Even without armor, your skin provides a small amount of natural protection

Land-Shark Rework

Carnivore

you can only eat meat

Aqua Affinity

you can mine under water just as you would on land

Like Water

you don't sink in water

Fragile

you have 7 hearts instead of 10

No Shield

You can't use a shield

Fins

You get slowness 2 while on land... unless you are in the rain or under the effects of an active Conduit

In conduit power, you get slowness 1 instead

Gill Lungs

You thrive under the water, but leaving the water makes you dry out unless you are in the rain or under the effects of an active Conduit

This also adds a dehydration mechanic. as a land-shark, you take 60 seconds to dehydrate when out of water.

Bigger Stomach

> You need more food to survive

Lunge

> Charge forward with great speed

Razor Sharp Teeth

> You deal 3 more damage due to your increased strength and powerful jaws

Fast Swimmer

> You swim faster in water (Dolphins Grace)
