Remnant Army is a datapack that has a variety of semi-complex origins within (all of them are impact 3, though you could argue some are impact 2). Though the origins themselves are not super complex, they are very polished in terms of functionality and they are sure to spice up any multiplayer scene they are present in, as they encourage the use of enchantments other than Protection, as well as having incredibly synergy with themselves (a diverse group of these origins together can cover for each other's weaknesses fairly well!), meaning that they can truly form an army if enough of them group up.

Their common mechanic is that they do not eat normal food, but rather fuel. Anything that can be burned is fair game, meaning that these origins require specific setups to live (such as blaze farms or charcoal farms) without causing major environmental mayhem as they consume every plant in sight.

Currently, the following Origins are included:

ORDNANCE

:ordnance:

This is a flying origin, which has a diverse arsenal of weapons as its main selling point (homing missiles, a machine gune, a flamethrower, bombs, landmines, drones, etc). Though it is fairly powerful, it also is incredibly susceptible to explosions and fire, which can cause it to blow up in spectacular fashion.

UPKEEP

:upkeep:

This is also a flying origin, which has inventory capacity and transport of other players as its main selling point. With up to 2 passengers, players who ride an Upkeep player will be able to use its ammunition to fire turret guns at targets, making team combos possible. In addition, Ordnance that fly near Upkeep players get fuel and ammunition so that they can follow them during long distance flights.

ENGINEER

:engineer:

Engineers are small constructs that can heal other creatures using copper, as well as upgrading golems, equipped with a small steam-powered jetpack that runs on water. Though small and somewhat frail, Engineers are capable of using their welding powers to heal other constructs and harm living creatures, as well as refueling and resupplying ammunition to other members of the Remnant Army. They get special benefits from running on rails, and their biggest downside is using magnetic tank tracks that do not allow them to jump unless the block they are on is metallic.

TRERROR

:trerror:

Trerror is a grounded construct that gains speed boosts on rails and when they have enough fuel, but that are also very heavy and sink in water, with an innate inability to jump or sprint. Their primary weapon is potent and fires in an arc, and they are also equipped with an ability to reload ammunition faster and a more spammable machine gun ability.
