Description
Lucky World Invasion Reloaded
Introduction
This modpack is a customization of Lucky World Invasion. Your goal is to defeat the Ender Trigon, and you will need to open many lucky blocks to be powerful enough to fight it.
It is lighter, harder and more vanilla oriented than the original modpack. Custom dimensions, guns, and other mods are gone.
It also brings five custom mods: Lucky XP, Lucky Tools, Lucky Tweaks, Lucky Stats and Optional Suffering, plus three exclusive Lucky Blocks. All of this adds replayability and new ways of playing.
Lucky XP
- Breaking lucky blocks gives Lucky XP, a second experience with its own blue bar and blue orbs
- Lucky Labs stands generate in the world, with a vending machine and a merchant
- Machines sell one-time items that never restock, and drop them on the ground in front of you
- The merchant sells rerolls, luck boosts, full heals, repairs, a difficulty cut and an extra life
- Using a stand starts a 3 minute timer. When it runs out the lab is destroyed for good, so spend fast
- Lucky Events happen from time to time and make lucky blocks appear around every player
Shared lives
- The run has a pool of shared lives, instead of a plain hardcore on/off switch
- 1 life alone. In co-op, one per player plus a spare: 3 lives for two players, 4 for three
- The pool belongs to the whole team and never refills. When it is empty, the run is over
- The merchant can sell the team one extra life, once per run
- In multiplayer you go down instead of dying, and a teammate has 5 minutes to revive you
- Remaining lives are shown as hearts on the HUD, and the number is configurable
Customized Content
- New Lucky Blocks (Chaos, Tools and Yummy)
- Lucky Tools makes the modpack more replayable and offers different styles of gameplay
- Lucky Tweaks fixes the luck system and adds new infusion features, now you can really feel the impact of luck on blocks!
- Lucky Stats tracks your breaks, your average luck and your legendary drops, on a screen and a movable HUD
- Difficulty increase (Hardcore is locked, nights are harder, monsters are really powerful)
- You can now skip an invasion by killing a certain amount of mobs, it's funnier than hiding in a giant tower. Missing an invasion will give you a chance malus (Optional Suffering mod)
- Remove mods like tacz, Touhou Little Maid that disrupt the vanilla experience, and remove custom dimensions
- Keep QoL mods like backpacks, inventory shortcuts, JEI
Multiplayer
To play multiplayer, open your world to LAN (in the Escape menu, then Start LAN World), then copy the IP address in the chat to your friends (not the port). There is no server to rent and no port to forward.
One player sleeping is enough to skip the night, and a player locator points you at your teammates.
Language
English and French. The five custom mods follow your game language.
